Current mood:Hopeful
It seems like forever since I have posted a blog. I want to briefly sum up our year thus far, and let you know what the coming months hold for us.

Notable 2009 news for us includes the recording of our first full length record with JIm Bentley at The Fort Brooklyn, ( www.thefortbrooklyn.com ) which is just about halfway done. We also made a trek to our home state of New Hampshire, for what was a truly unforgettable hometown show in February. March brought the beginning of my 29th year, and Jim's 32nd, our inevitable return to the Creek in Long Island City, and a couple of shows with some of the most amazing musicians I have ever met, in a band called Spirits of the Red City. ( www.spiritsoftheredcity.com )

April will be a much deserved "month off" as it were, for we will not be performing live in any capacity. This of course does not mean we will be treading water. In fact, we need the time to work on our new record, and to prepare for some really amazing shows in May.

May May May. EVERY monday in May Aldenbarton will be performing at the Cake Shop on Ludlow St. Also on these very monday nights, we will resume our alter-egos as The 57th Street Band to back up the uncontainable Jason Anderson( www.jasonandersonswebsite.com ) These nights will be brought to you for FREE by the sweat of our own brows. All you have to do is show up.....

I wish you the very best,

Drew
