many of you are asking me what's up with our new record. well?...

it's fuckin' ready!

we're in the final stages of releasing it, and in sort of an understatement - we're mad excited 'bout it.

plus ther'es a new Halva in town! yep, a new member in the band! Nimrod Talmon, straight out of the happiest ska band in the galaxy  THE HOODSKA EXPLOSIVE! ( in which the Halva Tahto-Man is the drummer of course, check 'em here : http://www.myspace.com/hoodska ) and the soulful anti-babylon warriors ZVULOON DUB SYSTEM ( http://www.myspace.com/dubsys ) .And what can i say : he's a fantastic keyboards man, a boombastic brass man and insanely cool.

it is now official, the unbelievable  Ido Big Baby Tahto Blaustein , drummer of the Halva Satan Vibes, is now also the new drummer of THE GIRLS, no doubtly one of the greatest rock'n'roll bands of the 21st century. as i'm writing this i've returned from his 1st show with them in Tel-Aviv, and unsurprisingly- he was monstrous!  

that also means that half of The Girls is Halva Vibed, alongside Adam Ajam Schefflan, their bassist and the halva's guitar champion. The Girls, btw, nicked Tahto : "Rasta Goldfinger", just another for the man with most nicknames ever. next month they'll be goin' for a tour in europe, so beware...

Tahto is also still the Midnight Peacocks drummer, which right after the Girls gave one of their best shows ever, and has almost finished recording the 1st album of his ultra happy Ska band - THE HOODSKA EXPLOSIVE!

and in other news...the halvas & myself are on the verge of working on the next album, and it's getting nearer...
