I just got home from my Provincetown vacation last night and it was quite a bit of fun. We decided to go to Ptown as a vacation really on a whim. Both getting the same week off and not knowing where to go. Well total coincedance this week turned out to be carnival, the biggest week in ptowns summer. So much fun was had.
First day we passed some lovely "ladies" on the street and i got my picture taken with them and then we were off to the beach. Well that was the plan. the B&B proprietor did not give the best directons and a short walk to the beach became a 3 plus hour nature hike across the cape. Arrggg. although the scenery was beautiful our legs were sore for days.
Tuesday we went to the GLAAD "fashion show" auction. ummm yeah right. watch some rather "gaaaaahhhh droooolllllll" models show off some swim suits and breifs and then bid on them to raise money for GLAAD. ohh but I digress. Later we went on the booze cruise of the Ptown Harbor. danced a bit with shirtless bois and had a nice ammaretto and coke. And watch all the drama that ensuses when a bunch of prissy queens get drunk. OH and the Lesbian who gave her partner a little up the skirt action climbing the stairs to the top deck. . . heh heh silly lesbians.
Wednesday was beach day. we just went to the harbor (much less walking and hiking.) nice dinner at The monkey bar. i love the name and the silly monkey picture. Its Tai fusion and my favorite thing they did was to make Tempura battered fries. tastey and different. Oh then we went to the Drag show! the blond was phenomenal, she did a dead on Blondie and Marilyn "Man-ho" Monroe was hilarious. Accept for the Michael Jackson bit the Brunette was meh. (oh and i bought some saucy pants for the beach ;) )
Thursday was the Carnival Parade. i got a bit tipsy at the hotel party but compared to everyone else was blind stinking SOBER! We watched the parade from out room window overlooking commercial street with some other hotties (although a bit man slutty) and had a lot of fun watching the floats and all. (and it did not degenerate into a drunken orgy thankyou very much). Went to the boat slip to get a drink and a dance but left for dinner shortly there after. well there was quite a raucus aty about 130-2 am when the bars closed and the less said the better but again no drunken orgy for me! seriously ewwwwww lottsa ugly people.
Friday was just the drive home. . . ok thats that for now! wanna knwo more ask. vacation was fun and there is so much to do in ptown for everyone!
oh and in closing all i have to say is "OH STEVEN! Would you lighten up" some lady to her husband when i walked by in my saucy beach pants.
