Hallo Pop Luverz,

Here's the playlist and listener comments with mp3 and real audio archive: http://www.wfmu.org/playlists/shows/27728

It was a hilarious disaster of a program as the A/C went out along with my mind. Botched cues, songs repeating and colliding, the works -- plus, Hanson!

Welcome to the site premiere of the Pseu's Thing with a Hook myspace page!
Some of our new friends may already be very familiar with the awesome force of freeform radio station WFMU, but perhaps not this particular program.
Pseu Braun has been hosting a freeform Pop program fridays evenings (and archived forever) that only generally occurs in the summertime since 2004, although she's been doing radio there since 1991.
Pop and freeform you might ask? Those expecting to tune in to get blasted with continous "power pop" or Top 40 will be dissapointed, as she feels the pop or hook sound can insinuate itself into the pockets of any genre of music. Admittedly very subjectively, she obsessively presents the listener with genre-spanning sounds, old and new that seem to encompass a sometimes particular, often enigmatic and indefinable something.
On rare occasion she will feature live music or interviews or talk about pop as it insinuates itself into the mundane realities of grocery shopping or watching television.
Playlists and archives for your perusal are located here on the WFMU site. (myspace puts up a warning once you click on any link off their site, so don't panic!)
Please be generous with your comments about the show or just drop a note in comments about what's doing with your own music or thoughts about pop!
