Not Just Boys' Fun 2008 is a collaborative effort of grrls within the local hc/punk and DIY community in efforts to celebrate and rejoice female participation within the DIY community and its various activities.it is also an effort to show women empowerment within the community itself as female are often labelled as passive supporters of hc/punk and DIY activities.

Not Just Boys' Fun is made up of grrls, punks, radicals, writers and grrls of different background but with the strong beliefs that patriachism should be abolished and gender equality should be uphold. we aim to create space and freedom of expression to grrls apart from promoting hc/punk and DIY, stimulating discussion and awareness of the many issues and situation that affects womyn, especially in our patriachy community.
