First off….when you get a chance, please check out a review from a brand new site called ROCKSPOSURE.com.  These guys caught our set this summer at the House of Blues with Candlebox, and have been really great to us. I wish them the best with the website. The world can never have enough outlets to get people music from “up and comers”!!!  Anyway, anybody who knows of some bands on the rise, please send them to this site. Thanks Chris for all you do!

Now then, because we are nothing more than over grown children, we seemed to have bitten off a little more than we could chew with the “Rock of the Town Event”. We had no idea it would take 100% of our time to plan and promote the event, and in turn it consumed us for a solid month. That being said, we got behind on booking the fall tour…so much so it is not going to happen.ARG!!!

Fear not though…Instead of touring for the next 3 months we are going to be working on new music!!! I can’t tell you how excited I am for this.  We hope to have some demos posted within the next few months and are gonna need everyone to give us feedback. We will still be doing shows here and there and hope to pepper in some of the new songs live. We intend to keep everyone in the loop as much as possible with more frequent blogs and video blogs and of course new music!!! I’m excited as I hope those of you who have been hanging around the last few years will be. We can’t control a lot of things, but one thing is for sure…nobody can stop us from writing new music…The Time has come.

So here is the deal. If everything goes as planned, (you never know...I don’t believe anything anymore till I see it) tomorrow, Tues. Aug. 25^th, our album will “officially” be released on itunes and amazon. This time it will be through the “proper” channels known as Upper 11/Fontana. Now then…what does this mean? “Wasn’t your album already on iTunes?”…yes, but now that it is “officially” released all sales will be counted...i.e. the label will be paying attention, and we will have the chance to chart!!! Speaking of charting, the more people download within the same day or same week, the better our odds to be on some sort of chart. Now I realize a couple of things. 1. We are such a young band, and for the most part nobody knows who we are…. so charting at this point is a long shot. (Although you never know, and why not try…right?) 2. Most of you reading this already have the album. That is where the “buy as gift” feature comes in as a good option. You can “gift” someone the album through iTunes which in turn adds a sale, and gets our name out to someone who may never have heard of us before. Of course if you want to buy a second copy for yourself, I won’t be mad :) It will have slightly different artwork.

Now then, when will it be available in stores?…that depends.  It depends on iTunes sales and touring. ITunes is up to you, and touring is up to us. We are trying to put together some sort of fall tour to coincide with our radio promotion. Just remember, every little bit helps. Just saying our band name to someone that has never heard it, is progress…Any thing you can do, small or big, is always appreciated.

We are still trying to make something happen, and hope you have not given up on us….This business can be a slow burn sometimes, but the band and I have a lot of fuel left in us!

Just a quick note that we will be on 98.3’s Nite Mix with Ken Keller on Monday March 9^th at 7:30. If you are in central Ohio and can get the station…give us a listen. If not, I’m gonna try to have it recorded and post  snipits (Sp?) since it doesn’t stream online. We will be chatting it up talking about what has been going down . More importantly , we will be promoting the March 14^th show at Bracken’s that you are all coming to correct?
