In January 2009, Otto Rapp started a Private Network of Visionary Artists on the Ning Platform with a handful of friends. Since then, the Membership has steadily grown and includes some of the very best Visionary Artists in the Universe. Many of these artists had been friends for decades, others are new to the fold. L'homme est pérpétuelement confronté à l'étrangetée de la vie, il n'a pas choisi ces origines, ni sa venue au monde.
Il est par essence mutagéne et proteïforme. Il n'a pas de réponse à ces questionements sur la vie et la mort, il est partagé entre sa nature et sa culture.
L'art est un moyen de mettre de l'ordre dans les affectes humains et exprime un rapport au monde, il est d'emblé un outil de communication et de représentation.
L'oeuvre d'art comme bloc d'affectes et de perceptes, travaille dans ce champ, tente de l'organiser et s'en nourrit.
De la tension entre assouvissement et inassouvissement qui nous pousse à reculer sans fin les limites du possible, qui nous lie à l'infinitude du désire façe à la mort et à sa finitude, certains artistes plus singuliérement que d'autres s'affrontent à cette tension, faisant souvent le choix de l'insondable face à l'impossible certitude de l'assouvissement.

Le corps.
L'animalité, hybride....
La sexualité.
La nature.
La machine, la technique.
L'architecture.
La lumiére le temps et l'espace.
La perception sentsoriel et extrasentoriel.

"On the way to a draft for a reflection about the contemporary Visionary Art."

Man is forever faced to the strangeness of life ; neither he choosed his origins, nor his coming to the world. By essence, he is changeable and multiform. He has no answer to his questioning about life and death. He is divided betwen his nature and his culture.
Art is a way to set humane emotional feelings in order and express a connection to the world. It is right away a tool for communication and representation. The Work of Art, as a single whole of emotional feelings and objects of perception, operates in that range, tries to organize it, and nourishes of it.
From tension between appeasing and unfulfilment which endlessly makes us roll back the limits for the possible, which links us to the boundless desire against the bounded death, some artists, more particularly than others, confront themselves to that tension, often choosing the impenetrable instead of the impossible certainty of fulfilment.
