ORC's favourite drum & base superstars Chase & Status have collaborated with pop sensation Rihanna to release Wait Your Turn. Alex Zane aired the track on his Radio 1 show last night, in his Hottest Record In The World feature, so it must be worth a listen! Heavy bass lines, grimey synth licks, delay-doused dub beats, and catchy pop hook choruses make this a dubstep end of night floorfiller. Enjoy! Chase & Status are constantly blaring on the Orange RockCorps CD player, ever since their explosive performance at the Orange RockCorps Royal Albert Hall show, 2009. Want to learn more about the boys - their thoughts on volunteering? Their favourite ever artist to collaborate with? Check this out:

Yo, Chipmunk, everyone's favourite Grime Emcee turned Pop prince, is definitely the name on ORC lips at the moment. Oopsy Daisy entered the charts at #1 yesterday, his debut album I Am Chipmunk drops today, and next single Look For Me had exclusive debut airplay on Sunday's Radio 1's Chart Show! Very exciting times for young Chip. Look For Me looks set to be another smash, with subtle syncopated rock guitars, Pop-hook vocals courtesy of Talay Riley, ornate synth lines and typical lyrical brilliance that we've come to expect from our Chip. If you missed the exclusive play last night, never fear, I've hunted down the track for you, check it out, and let us know what you think: Chip's the most exciting act the UK has to offer at the moment: we couldn't be happier for him, and after his awesome performance down at our Community Youth Ltd Project over the summer, we're simply dying to work with him again!

OK, Die hard N-Dubz fans know that this isn't THAT hot off the press, but with one month to go until I Need You drops, we at Orange RockCorps are just too excited NOT to write about it. The video, dropped on Youtube in mid September, has already notched up a massive million views, which suggests that this is going to be another huge track from the Camden group. It also sparks a slightly different vibe from the hip-hop superstars, adding weight to Dappy's claim in a 4music interview that the secon album, due for release mid November, was going to be an album of 'Club Bangers'. With a slowed down Dub beat and polished pop-hook synth infused verse, exploding into euphoric, dance-beat choruses, I Need You is gonna have you throwing shapes. And for your viewing and listening pleasure, check out the oh so glossy vid: But N-Dubz aren't just about the music y'all, they love a bit of volunteering too, and they're all about Orange RockCorps! Check out this highlight real courtesy of Orange's The Feed and watch out for Dappy's awesome reaction to being on the same line-up as Lady Gaga! Finally, just for funzies.. we at ORC couldn't help but giggle when we saw this pic of N-Dubz helping out with some flyering for our Manchester show.. check out Dappy's kebab! Amazing..

At just 18 years of age, and having only recently received his A-level results, Chipmunk has already achieved so much, including scooping the Best Newcomer Award at the 2008 MOBO Awards, collaborations with Ironik and Tinchy Stryder, and a hit single, Diamond Rings, which peaked at number 6 in the UK charts. However, it could just be that latest single Oopsy Daisy, released for download on the 4th and in physical format on the 5th of October, from debut album I Am Chipmunk (release date October 12th), will be the track that propels Chip into megastardom in the UK Urban / Pop scene.
With a banging 2/4 Dance beat, a simple piano chord ostinato, retro pop-hook synth lines, a potentially massive chorus hook, and a mellow and sombre tone dealing with relationship issues, Oopsy Daisy is the perfect follow up to the massive Diamond Rings. Catchy, poignant, lyrically brilliant and full of signature cheeky Chipmunk charm, Ooopsy Daisy is another rung on one hell of a career ladder for this rising star.
We at Orange RockCorps are loving Chip at the moment, and cant wait to work with him again, after his awesome impromptu performance at our Community Youth Ltd project in August which delighted our volunteers.
