So if you've been following us you're probably thinking "what the heck happened to Capa?" We apologize for our very little activity on myspace and AIM lately. We had a pretty eventful summer.

1. Nick took advantage of his time off school and went on a few vacations with his family.

2. Omni and Nick wrote a bunch of new songs that turned out amazing!

3. Nick began work on an EP for his solo music project that he hopes to release sometime at the end of the year.

4. Omni took some time and lent his talents to our friends in The Crush to help them record their full length album Physical Education.

In even bigger news: Omni will be joining The Crush from August 28th to September 24th on their tour with Blood on the Dancefloor! We wish him well and will miss him while he's gone.

Capa to the Sun will be back in full force later this fall with a couple of surprises that we can't talk about quite yet. Just stay tuned. Thanks to everyone who has stuck with us even though we've been out of touch lately.

With the release of our first EP just one month away, we thought that it would be fitting to let you in on a few details.

We're calling the EP Space, Time and Grey Matter. It will feature 5 songs including a newly mastered version of "Here We Go" and a brand new recording of "Finding Strength" The CD will be available on May 8th in conjunction with our CD release show!

We are so excited to share these songs with you. We worked so hard on this and it's finally paying off! Thanks so much for all of your support. We would never have made it this far without your help!

That's right. We have an official manager now. Zach Yoshioka of Powerline Management has risen to the occasion and has offered his skills to help us take Capa to the Sun to new heights. Expect big things from us real soon.

EP News: Thanks to all of our faithful friends/fans, we have now risen enough $$$ to begin production on the remaining songs for our EP at Bordur Studios! We begin tracking on February 11th and the EP is scheduled to be released on May 15 which happens to be the date of our CD release show at the Clubhouse! (Which is also the day I get out of school for the summer! Yay for Nick!) We hope to keep you updated with videos of us in the studio so you're not completely out of the loop for the next few months ;)

Merch News: We are currently going over designs for Capa shirts and hope to have them ready in time for our next show at The Sets on February 27th!

Thank you all so much for your support. It's because of you that we have come so far this fast. We couldn't have done it without your love and support. As some of you know, or may not know, we have been hard at work in recording our EP at Bordur Studios in Tempe with producer Curtis Douglas. We have completed one song and it sounds amazing! Professional quality recording!

Now, about the rest of the songs. We are scheduled to go back into the studio in February to do the remaining songs. We are currently trying to decide which songs will make the cut for the EP as we speak but in the meantime we need your help!

We have cut a deal with K&Z to where we are getting 100% of profit of who we bring to our next two shows, that's why it is SO SO SO important that you try and come to see us! You will be directly funding our EP! We can't do it without you!

So if you can come to either one or both of our next two shows please let us know so that we can get you some tickets!
