Mud bogs have gotten shorter and shorter ever since they started the National Mud Bog Association. I mean I think it's cool and all that they want to make it sound more professional, but it's the fuckin' mud bog. We're a bunch of country people. We want to go get drunk and watch a bunch of bad ass trucks go throuhg the mud. We want something that lasts longer than 5 hours. I remember back when they first started, they went on deep into the night. Sometimes they had to stop it and restart it in the morning. I understand why they stopped lettin' us park our trucks on the fence. I even understand not being able to bring in your own alcohol. What I don't understand is making things go by so much faster. I want to enjoy the many, many hours of loud exhaust and mud flying.

I miss back in the day when me, Wesley, Jesse, Cody, and all the other guys would pack the back of our trucks up with coolers of beer and ice, and head to the mud bog about 8 in the morning. We'd get there and crank up the radio, and party all day long. Nobody hung out in the parking lots. Everybody's truck had like at least 15 people in the back of it. We'd get drunk, dance, watch the bog, and end up leaving at about 10 that night. That was the shit! That will never happen again. It's sad what a few fights and some stupid underage drinkers will do to a sporting event. I do admit I was an underage drinker, but we kept it cool.

I did get to hang out with some very cool people. Let's see, I hung out with the somewhat ex-wife Nikki, Morgan, my little sis Carrie, my long lost friend Chris Whit, and a bunch of other folks that I can't even start to name. I saw alot of people I haven't seen in awhile, and a bunch of people that might not have wanted to see me. I don't know, but there was a good amount of folks up there.

Maybe they'll get a little better as the year goes on, and more and more people start coming. Who knows? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

there's not a whole lot to say about it. it started on january 1 and ends today. nothing really speacial about it. it probably had to be one of the worst years overall that i've ever had for myself. it also had to be the best year overall on the friend side of things. i've been in a whole lot of trouble this year. i've been to jail multiple times, hurt my friends and family, and continue to do the things that i know i'm not supposed to do. but there is one great thing about it...i found out who the real friends are. i figured out that you don't even have to know a person that well or have to know them that long to find out if they are real friends or not. you can hang out with somebody one time, and they can still be a real friend. i found that out the hard way this year. when i was in all this trouble this year, i lost the majority of my friends. i don't speak to any of my long time friends much any more. the only friends that are here for me are pretty much the people i've met this year, or have just started hanging out with this year. they all know who they are there is no need for me to list them.

that's pretty much all my year has been about...friends. i love all of you! this year is going to be an awesome year for us. i'm going to get my life back order, get a job, make some money, get out of this bad situation i've put myself in....it's going to be great!

p.s. - ziggy might go away for good this year. shane might come back. ziggy is associated with too much negativity right now, yet alot of good has come from it.....i need everybody's input.

Something very sad has happened...the Sammy has been sold. It is going to Florida. It is going to be hard without it. There are so many memories in that thing...

Taurus (Apr 20 - May 20)

Although you might try to be practical today, common sense loses ground to the possibility of enjoyment, which sets the pace for your day. Your desires are strong and it appears that fulfillment is within reach, so it will be difficult to talk you out of your current pleasure-seeking mode. Remember, you deserve what is coming your way and there is no reason to deny yourself a delightful experience.

Where to start?...let's start on Saturday...MUD BOG!!!! Can we say frickin' awesome? Strret class suck! It wasn't but 5 trucks in the whole class. I got to hang out some cool people. Not too much dram this time. I did have to work on keeping to guys from fighting. Yes, Ziggy broke up another fight. I can't help it. It's MY mud bog. You can't even have a dip at the mud bog anymore without getting carded. Luckily I don't dip anymore and I'm old enough. But yeah it was a great day. My boy Daniel threw one of the baddest ass parties ever afterwards! It was flippin' NUTZ!!! But it had to end a little early, so we went on to the cabin where the party continued until daylight.

I got an announcement to make to all my close friends who know me and know some of the problems I have...I'm done for a while! Drinking everyday ain't worth a crap! From now on I only drink on special occasions.

The first mud bog was yesterday! It was pretty good. Carrie came up to go with me. It was pretty cool being around the ol' crowd again. I miss all the folks up at the shop. There was only one problem with the mud bog...the young kids who brought their schoolyard b.s. there. I broke it up to save my good mud bog experience, but it made it worse. Carrie got really mad at me. She got mad because it wasn't my place to do anything. I felt like it was. The mud bog is my one day a month to have fun with the boys and get dirty.
