Another immense tour for the G team. Birmingham with Funeral For A Friend was a great reminder of how far both band and bandidos have come. And yet, we've learnt very little in the way of maturity. Grown men  should not be throwing shoes into the crowd to prove a point. Backfired anyway.

Also, Cardiff, London, Liverpool, York and Glasgow. Great towns rocked by great bands. Highlights for me included a blistering set by Blood Red Shoes and some BBQ rhymes from Dan Le Sac and Scroobie Doo (wait until you check out their Prince cover...damn!)  Thanks to all the bands for coming and hanging. Special mention to Babyshambles for being true to their word. If you came, i hope you enjoyed yourselves. Its on the air (MTV2) mid November (16th I think).

Electric Proms this week. Word.

It has been some time since i last planted myself on here for some one way. For those that give a damn, the summer was full and fresh with a lot of djing around the uk and ibiza. If you made it down for a / some shows, i hope we delivered. As you can see, there is another Home Taping leg coming in November and if these shows are anything like the September ones, then we will end the year on a major high. I get a few emails here and there from people asking for tracklistings from certain nights. Unfortunately the memory tends to be a little unreliable when it comes to the exact tunes and order...maybe we should just do a mix and throw it up here. I'm playing a lot of specials (as they are called in the game) with the intention of completing some original tunes next year. Then, maybe a Breaks record. Fingers crossed.

On the Radio 1 tip, watch out for our Masterpiece Albums series on the air November 5th thru 8th. Four classic albums, one per night from Monday to Thursday, played in full with no interuptions. In the lead up, we'll be sourcing interviews with some of the people involved and those that have been subsequently influenced by these vintage records. The first series is as follows:

Monday: Nirvana 'Nevermind'

Tuesday: Arctic Monkeys 'Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not'

Wednesday: The Strokes 'Is This It'

Thursday: Led Zeppelin 'Led Zeppelin IV
