I'm pretty excited--I love when all the award winning books get announced. I've already picked some of the books I want to read:

Sharp Teeth from the Alex Awards
Me, the Missing and the Dead from the Morris Awards
The Graveyard Book from the Newbery Awards
Nation from the Printz Awards
Jerk, California from the Schneider Family Book Awards
and I want to listen to The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian from the Odyssey Awards!

I better get cracking. Is it wrong to hope for a snow day so I can stay home and read? ;)

Hey Artists! It's time again for our Teen Summer Reading Bookmark and Poster Design Contest!

Up to ten lucky winners will have their artwork featured on thousands of bookmarks and one lucky winner will have their artwork featured on hundreds of posters, distributed in Denver schools and libraries during the Spring of 2009.

The winning art will also be featured on eVolver and the 2009 Teen Summer Reading web site. Check out the winners from 2008!
