Blog? Why Blog? That was the word my dad used whenever any of us sulked. 'Have you got the blog on?' he'd ask, just to show up how stupid it was to get the mardies on because you'd been restricted to 3 custard creams after tea. Anyway, I'm in danger of turning into Alan Bennet and that's Simon's job. What's been happening with Red Threat?
Well, after nearly two years of faffing around and striving for perfection, we've finally put together a nine track album. I don't think Simon has put the latest versions on yet, but most of it can be found on our website: www.redthreat.net
We've just sent a two track sampler of the album to Radio Sheffield and will be tuning in for the 5 minute buzz of hearing ourselves on the radio tomorrow evening (did you know we were number 1 in some US DJs internet radio show last year? Though I suspect this DJ has only one regular listener, himself).
I feel like I'm walking and talking alone like a medieval madman in the Peak Cavern (sorry, Devil's a*se as it's now been rebranded) with this blog so I'll sign off now. If anyone is reading this and has listened to our stuff then please send us a message to tell us what you think. It'll make Simon's day!
