While we attempt to remain hopeful and optimistic in the wake of day to day global situations and conditions, the very act of universally hacking and fucking with a country's computer security system should be  A SERIOUS FUCKING WAKE UP CALL, BUT NO!!!!
We insist on putting a city such as Los Angeles further in debt by making them feel obliged to spring  the tab for a memorial service when what we fucking need are "JOBS" "JOBS" "JOBS" on the plate for our fellow Americans.
WAKE THE FUCK UP PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Token of extremes, black limousines, pass along the carved frustrations of degenerating cells from pharmaceuticals and synthetic preservatives while gargling in the soil of our forefathers who consumed stronger liquor than is regulated in our time and in far greater portions.

We continue to pass judgement on an epidemic which was in full swing long before when dingy dimly lit seedy sweat stained devil's drugs drenched deep within our turbid tissues and tumeni notes soared from nods of compassionate snazzy jazz.

The Reap of time has not 9 but 1 life to grasp that history has and always will be a mistake, let alone to repeat is a contagious initiation.

We do not learn from ghost stories, news clippings or double dares without regard to human life which we hold so firmly in the palm of our pride and hand.

We feed upon the progressing evolution of the education submitted for random acts of sequels based on the greedy dollar.

Your first impression based on your reactions are not as loud as the level of punishment that you impose on your loved one's as you portray a character whose DNA mutates day to day in a world of fine natural chemical inbalance.

Technology is the new Satan, and man supports him.

Some of us may have experienced the days of rock music when it was bursting at the seams and the hysteria that surrounded the language of
melody and rhythm.
In the mid 60's a DJ by the name of Murray The K aptly penned as the 5th Beatle took his ground breaking air wave exposure to Canada because America wasn't ready for him.
On the west coast, KRLA and KHJ  were the gods of radio during the 60's before FM broke through with the so called Album Oriented Rock format.
American Garage rock and the British invasion slowly became the normal medium.
Alice Cooper got exposure before Zappa ever would.
Back in the late 60's the original KNAC  105.5 based out of Long Beach revolutionized obscure song rotation of not just the tried
and true hits that the record company paid off for heavy rotation but the songs who rounded out the long playing albums which showcased the unique artistic side of the artist.
Doors, Jefferson Airplane, Grand Funk, Hendrix, Santana, Mountain, Johnny and Edgar Winter, Zep, Creedence, Rolling Stones,
Beatles, Genesis, Yes, ELP, King Crimson were on heavy rotation at KNAC long before KLOS was hatched.
KMET 94.7 was also in their infancy
Back in 1968 KLOS was originally run by ABC channel 7 TV and their letters were KABC. Their rotation consisted of Beatles and Stones in 24/7
mode before they ran neck and neck with KMET 94.7.
KPPC 106.7 was the original KROQ, far superior, as KROQ sounds nothing more than MTV top 10 to this day.
When KROQ started out in 1978 they took the new music of the late 70's and early 80's and made it a household name.
Best move they could ever make.
Unfortunately to this day the new music scene does not get treated with the same love do they?
In recent years gone by we became victimized by Arrow 93.1 which was obviously an in breed of KRTH 101.
Now there is JACK and still going strong is KLOS which sounds more dated than ever.
As a new comer to the download revolution, this is the first year I submitted original music to the www for global distribution through Tune core and I got bombarded with messages and emails from independent indie CD corporations
offering package deals in the excess of hundreds of dollars to distribute my CD and broadcast the music to a potential but shallow market viewing audience.
Please read the Rolling Stone article below regarding 103.1 who are shutting down their FM station and going strictly www.

Los Angeles’ Indie 103, one of the nation’s most renowned alternative rock stations, announced on air today that they’ll end their FM broadcast “effective immediately” and instead only exist on the Web. “Because of changes in the radio industry and the way radio audiences are measured, stations in this market are being forced to play too much Britney, Puffy and alternative music that is neither new nor cutting edge,” the station said in a statement on their Website and an audio blast that aired several times this morning. “Due to these challenges, Indie 103.1 was recently faced with only one option: to play the corporate radio game. We have decided not to play that game any longer. Rather than changing the sound, spirit and soul of what has made Indie 103.1 great Indie 103.1 will bid farewell to the terrestrial airwaves and take an alternative course.”

By moving to the Internet, Indie 103 — which Rolling Stone named the nation’s best radio station — promises to recapture the spirit they had when they first hit the airwaves on December 25th, 2003, instead of “the version of Indie 103.1 we are removing from the broadcast airwaves.” Today they played Frank Sinatra’s “My Way”; several hours later, Sid Vicious’ version blared from radio speakers.

Though the station said they’re going off air immediately, they’re still playing music now, including a pretty awesome block that included Lou Reed’s “Vicious” and Prince’s new “Wall of Berlin.” In fact, Indie 103 made nationwide news recently when Prince deemed the station worthy enough to preview his new songs. A countdown clock currently greets visitors to their Website, with roughly 29 days and 10 hours remaining until the “Indie Revolution” begins.

Depending on where we were in what year at what time or where you weren't,  our deserted island albums may vary.

First ask yourself, what are you going to do when your batteries die?

Did you bring a charger?

Is there AC current, are you AC or DC?

Negative battery power or Positive Polarity?

Now there is power on Bjork's island, but you aren't going to visit there so what  is the first thing you would play to leave you hummin' or bummin'?

Music affects us in oh so many ways; it can fuck with our head, leave us cold,  leaves us chillin', leave us happy, leave us sad.

Over the years, many fade, while others still hold the edge.

These are not my island choices, but just a shitload of memorable gems.

The Beatles Rubber Soul and Revolver

Yardbirds Having a rave up.

Spirit 12 Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus

Miles Davis Bitches, The Complete Cellar Door Sessions

Doors Waiting for The Sun, Morrison Hotel

The new myspace gimmick Check out my play list pop up menu SUCKS and is very disrupting.
Every time I move my cursor over to the media player it automatically pops up and prevents me from clicking on a song.
No disrespect, I don't care what other people are listening to.
The bottom line is we as indie artists are constantly creating new music and we rely on the media player to network our music, not anyone else's.
If someone or myself visits a page, we visit to hear our friend's or another artists music, not to see what some other person's play list is.

Doors History Spotlight: Long Beach Arena

February 7th 1970

The Flying Burrito Brothers open the show with a surprisingly lackluster set, and are followed by an impassioned one-hour show by Albert King. The Doors follow with a leisurely paced two hour concert, which alternates between accelerated and slow tempo songs. They open with a superb version of Roadhouse Blues, with Robby brilliantly punctuating Jim Morrison's lyrics. Ship of Fools introduces part of an instrumental jam which will later become a regular part of the People Get Ready jam.

Two previous nights of intense singing at the Winterland Arena have left Jim's voice hoarse and on the verge of cracking. Songs which require full vocal stamina, such as Break On Through suffer as a result. But Morrison is in good spirits, stretching out where he can, yet cautiously restraining himself on strenuous passages, such as the "Jesus, save us!" portion of When The Music's Over. Light My Fire is extended into a long medley, incorporating other songs. The band is so pleased Morrison breaks out his harmonica, inserting a brief solo before the final stanza. Every time the chorus comes around to "I guess I'll have to go now", the audience replies with a resounding "NO!" and following the concluding verses of "I'd really like to stay here all night", the audience answers with a roar, "YEAH!"

When the crowd is leaving the auditorium, Jim Morrison unexpectedly reappears onstage under the blinding houselights and, grabbing his gold microphone, he asks the crowd, "Hey, listen! Does anyone have to go home early tonight?" This elicits a thunderous "NO!" as the crowd stops at the exits. Jim continues with "You'd like to listen to some more, right?" which provokes a deafening "Yes!" as the crowd heads back into the arena. In response to the audience's enthusiasm, the Doors launch into a passioned version of Love Me Two Times, followed by Maggie McGill. Morrison then lightheartedly asks for a vote on either Crystal Ship or Touch Me, and Crystal Ship garners the loudest applause. At the conclusion of Crystal Ship, the band surprises the audience by launching immediately into Touch Me. Then, after a brief interval on a darkened stage, the opening notes to The End echo through the arena, and the Doors conclude the night with a full rendition of the song. This is one of the longest performances the Doors ever play, with the encore itself nearly comprising an entire show. The band finally leaves the stage well after 1:00 in the morning.
