Pseudonyms are dead. Nava is my last name and I think it fits well with the kind of music I’ve always wanted to make. I kind of equate it to a band breaking up. If methods were comparable to band members, then I’d be kicking out most of the band for being uninspired dead weight.
I don't really think of music like other people I know do. I think of it as art. So this is an artistic decision, NOT a marketing plan. I am proud of everything I have done in the past, and am very happy that I was able to share the music with many of you. Sometimes you have to destroy everything to build something new and better. The next project "NAVA" - Death Stare will be very much for myself, but I hope that many of you will come with me on this one.
With all of that said, my final album "Egadz is Dead" was just released. I think it's the best music I've put out so far, and it will serve as a middle ground between where I've been and where I am going.
