In 1964, There were these rival high school bands in Contra Costa County. The Six Pense, Shades Blue Limited and the Breakers to name a few. They used to go to each others gigs and watch each other play songs from groups like the Beatles, The Beach Boys, The kinks, The Ventures, the Stones, The Animals, to name a few more. After graduating high school, members of all three of those bands ended up at Diablo Valley College. One day at lunch out in the quad.....................
