To celebrate the end of term for George W. Bush, the worst president in U.S. history, Relapse will issue grind / hardcore / power violence compilation This Comp Kills Fascists as a limited edition 7” box set on January 20th, 2009.

The limited edition box set features a 7x21” poster and seven 7”s housed in a box featuring the incendiary Bush “Cockstika” cover art (viewable here) that was turned away by all but one printing company. All pre-orders will also include a limited-run t-shirt featuring the same artwork.

The 7” pairings are as follows: BRUTAL TRUTH / MAGRUDERGRIND, INSECT WARFARE / MARUTA, AGENTS OF SATAN / WEEKEND NACHOS, SHIT STORM (mems. of TORCHE) / MAN WILL DESTROY HIMSELF, TOTAL FUCKING DESTRUCTION / CHAINSAW TO THE FACE, KILL THE CLIENT / SPOONFUL OF VOCODIN, and ASRA / WASTEOID.

This Comp Kills Fascists, originally released on CD last July, was culled together by PIG DESTROYER / AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED’s Scott Hull. The compilation received year-end credits from both Decibel and Revolver magazines as one of the best releases of 2008. Audio samples taken from This Comp… can be heard now at this location.

the long awaited vinyl release of the 'THIS COMP KILLS FASCISTS' compilation on Relapse Records has finally been released on Deep Six Records (home to such bands as: Infest, Man Is The Bastard, Voetsek, Phobia, Lack Of Interest...) the compilation is a 51 song double lp featuring a new layout from the cd and in my opinion...better sound quality!! this is one of the most brutal records to come out this 2008!! also....wasteoid made it on side D....which is the side with the first Brutal Truth tracks in 10 years!!

thing is....wasteoid only have a few copies, so we'll be only selling as a first come first serve basis. otherwise, you are just going to have to order from Relapse, Deep Six Records, or the many distros carrying this all over the world.

WASTEOID/BLACK MARKET FETUS - Split (Six Weeks)

Opening this infected sore is Wasteoid, a Nebraskan act whose demo I've previously ogled over in Firing Squad, and who've definitely expanded on that massacre on their aid to this rotten double-header. A red-hot buzzsaw in your ass of non-technical, non-gimmicky, rapid-fire grindcore, Wasteoid gore it up like Impaled on a mountain of Ajax-infused ghetto coke with classic thrash riffs chopping meat off your bones at like 3000 BPM, infusing intelligible high-speed guitar assaults and powerthrash drum blasts. With the engrossing strength and groove of Nasum, Macabre and Benümb, the twisted powerviolence holocaust of Total Fucking Destruction and Monster X, they retain a wicked thrash aspect like Terror Squad and Gospel Of The Horns. Wasteoid's rabid 11 tracks are worth picking up this slab for even if the act they were paired with sucked a fat one. But we haven't even heard Black Market Fetus's contribution to the release. Matching up just fine with Wasteoid, BMF holds a bit of a name in the grind world in their still fairly young incarnation, and for no bullshit reason. Gutter-born, ultra-hazardous and more D-beat inspired than the previous half of the release, the 'Fetus bears an equally spastic and homicidal edge on things, but in a slightly more goresoaked way. Rampant to the point of nearly losing control it feels, the crew portray the most malicious of Carcass' riffs like the members were injected directly in the jugular with a shot of adrenaline mixed 50/50 with bottom-grade backyard meth. A nice undercurrent of absolute Southern doom groove in the vein of Crowbar, Corrosion Of Conformity and (therefore) Down takes over for a bit, but only as a breather before the wasted/retarded horror disco track closing out the split. Blast junkies, seek no further. This spilt reigns supreme in the midst of today's plague of faux-grindcore and supposedly scary metalcore pissing in your gas tanks.  sixweeksrecords.com — Dave Brenner
