After a 2 month break we're back jamming once again!
If you guys read the papers, there's a charity concert called ChildAid that's coming up on the 19th of December.

"ChildAid is a charity concert by The Straits Times & The Business Times that showcases Singapore's young musicians below 19 years old, to raise money for ST School Pocket Money Fund and BT Budding Artists Fund. Over $1.5m has been raised since 2005."

The concert will be staged at RESORTS WORLD SENTOSA in a 1600 seater performance hall ^^ Tickets will be on sale on sistic from tomorrow, 3/12 onwards, so hurry grab your tickets fast!

Hello world,

So, we just played our one and only gig this month on saturday, 12th Sep, at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre. A little deja vu for us having played on the same stage at baybeats just 2 weeks back, and it's also the first performance we had after the departure of jonshin. Jonshin you will be are missed dearly! For all who went down, to some of our school mates that took a break from their study routines to come down, we hope you guys had a ball of a time and enjoyed our tunes!

2009 has been such a mind-blowing year thus far, with so many stories told, experiences went through. We have really, really come a long way from when we first started out back then in 2007 and i think as a band, we have only one person to credit for our inexplicable success, and that person, is God. It was He who shaped this long and winding journey, the entire progression. Abruptly lifting our spirits, and teaching us valuable lessons through every performance, and i must say, each performance brought something new for us to take in. That is why we go through our 'ritual' of praying before every performance, to remind ourselves that we're playing our music for Him, to glorify His name as we sing and play the rhythms and melodies that descended upon us from His throne above. We really have to thank You for all that we've been through, all that You've done, and all that's about to come.

We'll be taking a break for our exams, but there's definitely going to be another tale to close off this year, so yes, please do check this space in the near future! God bless you all

So, to do a little round up of baybeats.

IT WAS FRIKKIN AWESOME.
We loved every moment of playing for all our friends and families and fans. Everyone who bothered to come down and make time to hear our music.
We love you very much. It really means something that anyone at all bothers to listen to music we make. You people there, and whoever reading this makes our efforts worth it.


August has been crazy and fun at the same time. All the overly packed weekends but the joy of playing on stage everyweek makes it all worth it. We really thank God that we managed to pull off Baybeats, its a dream come true, and the band is looking forward now!

Look our for the EP. this year end! and also in the more immediate future. catch us at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre, 12th Sept! Alongside The Fire Fight!

it's been awhile. but ah let's start with an update. a simple update of how life has been for ExDee this past month!

7 gigs! 4 down 3 to go!
ah acsi try for tomorrow was >.< fun
and national day parade had one heck of a crowd and it was refreshing to see bunch of spastotards body surfing and moshing thanks guys :D

ohyes come nudge. THANK YOU ALL THE BANDS WHO PLAYED FOR NUDGE >< one word. epic. if you weren't there, i'm sorry you missed the gig of your lives. plainsunset, vertical rush, west grand, CARACAL O.O the line up>< ahhh thank God we survived the night in one piece. well done yisin! :D but yea nudge was quite rad for us. biggest stage we've played yet. sound was awesome. I really thank God for all that went right, and all that could have but didn't go wrong! ><

alas 1823 fund was an eyeopener to once again a different kind of audience but hey, we'd play for monkeys if we had to :D haha

greetings, the ExDee boys have been out making their music heard and having fun at the same time. Its been an awesome few weeks for us, learning to do acoustic sets, busking and what not. It's been tiring but here's something for you.

I'm writing this in the morning and totally zoned out, but we were all really stoked about it when the results were out.
You could say we were pleasantly surprised. We really didnt know what to expect, we gave it our best, God did the rest. Thats where our utmost praise goes to first.

Yeah on hindsight, thats how we've come so far, at the tender age of seventeen playing for baybeats is really a dream come true. We remember starting out like little kids at 3 years back, saying "whoa baybeats!" and now we're here. so these are a few people we need to thank!

Mums and Dads, thanks for being ever so supportive, chauffeuring us back and forth, lugging equipment around and for even understanding that this is our passion, though sometimes we fight, but you're always behind us all the way.

Saturday went quite well, i think we did passable, not our best performance. so im not sure of our chances of getting through but we'll have hope! We thank God for having gone through it smoothly, amongst the many things that could have gone wrong.
