The final volume in the Ephemeroptera series, the
final release on Seymour Records and the first release to feature a
trio formation of Metal Rouge with Caitlin C. Mitchell on drums. Three
tracks: two slow burning caverns of reverbed strings and one brutal
trio blow-out dedicated to our favourite physicist. When cities fall
silent, when our species fails itself, when the facade of sentience
finally breaks - there still at the bottom of streams and rivers:
caddisflies and mayflies spinning their webs.... Edition of 50 Sold Out! Copies may still be available at Mimaroglu Music Sales.

Hey everyone,
As you can see on our tour dates we're embarking on a kamikaze tour of the Southwest not so long after a not so kamikaze tour of the west coast with The Parasitic Fantasy Band. We're really excited to be on the road in states we've never been to and playing with some seriously amazing bands. We have a couple of holes in our schedule that we'd like to fill, some of which are total voids of mystery to us in terms of whats happening in those places, so if anyone could help us with the following dates, or steer us in the direction of someone who could, we would be eternally grateful:
5/8 Flagstaff, AZ or Las Vegas, NV 5/10 or 5/11 Amarillo, TX 5/16 Houston, TX 5/18 Baton Rouge, LA 5/19 New Orleans, LA 5/21 El Paso, TX
Some of these places may be a long shot (anyone out there in Flagstaff? In El Paso?), but any help would be totally appreciated...
love / Helga and Andrew

Beautiful young soul Jesse Hlebo interviewed us for issue three of his disorientingly personable online zine Commonism directly after we'd hopped ourselves up on three double espressos. Topics (rapidly) discussed include constructivism, proxy wars, 'serial bands' and goldfish scat. You can find it here. (P.S. The name I can't remember at the start of the interview is Malevich - dammit!)

Recordings, T-shirts and one-off art items from Metal Rouge and related projects are now available at the new Seymour Records blog. Expect to see more Metal Rouge and extended family on Seymour in the future.... Meanwhile on the smog-damaged horizon: a CDr on Stunned Records and limited vinyl on Digitalis from us sometime real soon. Also some related merch dropping soon on New Zealand's CMR label: A self titled double LP lathe cut from Nest (Andrew and Nigel Wright) and a 7" lathe called 'LA Softcore' from Un Ciego (Andrew solo). Both are going be limited as all hell and will be available from the Seymour blog. Peace to all.... Helga & Andrew
