New Street Team Mission: Push Shows

So we´re doing a few shows, and as always, your support is needed, and appreciated. We´ve made some posters and flyers for our shows, you can grab them here. Feel free to print them out and pass out at clubs, shows, parties, events, record stores, schools or anywhere else you think they´ll do some good. MORTIIS TO PLAY DUTCH AND BELGIAN SHOWS IN DECEMBER

FRERIKSTAD, NORWAY. – Mortiis will be unleashing their collective demons onHolland and Belgium during a four-show jaunt to continental Europe.

“We’re all looking forward to going back to Holland,” said band namesake Mortiis. “We haven’t played there in a long time and we always had a great time there. We’re also doing a couple of towns there we haven’t played before, so that will be interesting as well.”

Following the three Dutch shows, the band will head to Belgium for the Hermes Project Event, where they will play with Clan of Xymox.

Mortiis has been putting the finishing touches on “The Great Deceiver,” the group’s long-awaited follow-up to 2005’s “The Grudge.” Tracks from the record can be heard – and seen – via the videos for “Doppelganger” and “Zeitgeist” on Mortiis’s YouTube channel. Mortiis also promises to preview several new songs during the live shows.

“We’re gearing up to release ‘The Great Deceiver’ at long last, and it felt like it would make sense to do a few shows before 2009 comes to an end,” Mortiis said. “Shake the dust off and get back into the ‘live mode,’ so to speak. We obviously plan on coming back to Holland/Belgium and as many other countries as possible during 2010.”

Mortiis: THG Video Contest

The Hate Generation Street Team for Mortiis is having a contest! The idea is to promote the video session 1, 2 & 3 out as much as possible using the Reverbnation coding so we can track who is winning! Mortiisbay news: T-shirts added + lower shipping.

We´ve just updated our t-shirts section on Mortiisbay with a couple of designs we hadn´t had there for a while, plus we´ve also lowered the shipping costs on shirts, and will be lowering on everything else in the next day or two as well. Norway is absolutely merciless when it comes to shipping charges, but we´ll be doing our best to keep shipping charges down even if it means losing out a bit on the shipping side.

For those of you into old Emperor, I´m selling the bass guitar I was using with them back in 1992. Check it out here. The auction closes on the 21st, so you only have a couple of days if you wanna have a stab at winning it.
