Check out this cool new Crud review in UK Glossy Goth mag Nocturnal Publications:

Crud - Devil At The Wheel Full Effect Records
Crud’s debut album Devil At The Wheel blends ‘fetish-rock’, revvedup
Industrial riffs and Mansonesque vocals to create an atmosphere of pure
debauchery. The Detroit-based band, who feature
Vin E. (from Sponge) as lead-singer and burlesque beauty Danielle Arsenault
(formerly Stun Gun) on back-up, sound like Rob Zombie meets Rammstein,
with steamy female vocals reminiscent of KMFDM thrown in for good measure.
Making up the rest of the band are David Black (from Seduce) on guitars,
Dana Forrester (from local Detroit band 60 Second Crush) on bass and, recent
addition, Eric Hoegemeyer on drums. The album’s opening song - Reality
(Bang, Bang, Bang), with its hectic energy and upbeat vocals, sets the pace
for an album whose delightful decadence and turbo-charged riffs are sure
to satisfy. Devil At The Wheel delivers a wide spectrum of influences and, from
the slow and sleazy All Used Up, to the industrially-fueled Assume the Position,
takes the listener on a deliciously twisted journey of decadent sound.
Golden Age of Grotesque-era Manson reverberates throughout La De Da
while the cheerful decadence of Merder is Fun is a refreshing example of a band
who doesn’t take itself too seriously.

CRUD: the coolest band to grace Hell Radio
Hell-o Minions!

I am suspending our regular programming to bring all of you Hellions the sexiest band Hell ever spawned ... CRUD! Roaring out of Detroit, Michigan, Crud brings me back to the early days of White Zombie and Type O Negative, back when that meant "Cool" personified. Not only do they capture a style and sense of adventure not heard in metal based music in years, but technically, the songs snap with the precision of a  Cat o' Nine Tails!

Their roster features the crushing vocals of Vinnie Dombroski & smoky sexuality of Danielle Arsenault , wailing David Black on guitar, gorgeous Dana Forrester  on bass and  the low thrum of the drums of Eric Hoegemeyer.

Crud's debut CD DEVIL AT THE WHEEL (Full Effect Records) is terror-iffic tour de force that has been the backing soundtrack for television shows including CSI, ER, Burn Notice  and their music has been featured in a venues such as  E!: Emmy Awards Show, HBO's: The Bunny Ranch, VH1's: History of Metal, MTV's: Cribs, Live 8, Date My Mom, and Comedy Central's "The Showbiz Show",  and the video game Test Drive 2.

With their own unique brand of fetishism, violence, and Roman spectacle, CRUD has placed a nice red scar on music as we know it...

Have a taste of the delicious decadence that is CRUD my Hellions *whipslap* ...
