“13 Years In Misery” was released last year, and
contains 13 songs that reveal a lot of d-beat crust, hardcore punk and
metal influences ranging from Discharge to Disrupt, from classic
Brazilian thrash core to now days modern metal(core) bands (listen for
instance “Possessed By Greed”). Read the entire review here.

Vilenoise had a little chat with Dhul-Qarnayn’s
mastermind Learza about music, religion and state of mind in Middle
East. Be sure to check out this fine piece of misanthropic black metal,
a perfect example that there are no musical boundaries but those in our
heads. Read the entire interview here.

I’ve spent quite some time with Behemoth’s latest record during the
past 10 days. Since they are one of my favorite bands it’s only natural
that I jumped on Metal Blade’s invitation to listen to the new album
before it was released. Read the entire review here.

Ruins
are a black metal band from Hobart, Tasmania. They blend an ominous
dark-death metal dynamic amidst their powerful, menacing and
melancholic, yet eerily seductive black metal style; with a venomous,
and summoning vocal presence. Speaking with Vile Noise is
guitarist/vocalist Alex Pope. Read the interview here.

Lvmen are currently on a short tour promoting their latest effort “Heron” which we already reviewed on Vile Noise.
Last time they were here two years ago and gained only praises for
their performance. Around 100 people came to see them this Friday
evening, and they certainly didn’t leave disappointed. Read the entire report here: http://www.vilenoise.com/report-lvmen-and-true-live-in-zagreb-croatia-05-06-2009/
