Released on November 3, 2009, LEGO Rock Band is yet another installment in the wildly popular ..Rock Band.. video game franchise. Although the basic gameplay remains the same, the developers of LEGO Rock Band stated from the beginning that they wanted to create a more family-friendly Rock Band game. As such, the game incorporates LEGO-themed challenges, a new “Super Easy” mode perfect for young tykes, and a soundtrack “suitable for younger audiences.”....

Earlier this fall, famed 1990s indie rockers Pavement announced that they would reunite for a benefit concert in September of 2010, also leaving open the possibility of more shows throughout that year (see Rolling Stone article: Pavement Reunion Confirmed for 2010: “It Happened Naturally” Says Kannberg in Exclusive Interview). Since then, besides getting all riled up over the mere possibility of seeing Pavement live, I’ve been searching around to see what other bands from the past (or, should I say blasts from the past) might be reuniting and touring.....
