As always... we're UNDER CONSTRUCTION... Setting up the walls to test the look and scale of the new exhibit. Checking the spacing of the walls and their placement to better 'reveal' our main gallery area. Can't wait for 'it' to open... and for all of you to come down as see it.

Nope, no one here had a baby, but we do have a new airplane! an F-15 to be more accurate... I've created a photo album for anyone that would like to see shots all along the way as the barge delivered the fighter to good ol' terra firma and its journey to Hangar 79. Later when we have access to the photos of them loading the F15 on the barge, I'll put those up in the album.

In late July, a contingent of Royal Air Force Pilots took a tour of the Museum and brought a friend with them. Tederrick the iii enjoyed his photo session with many of the exhibits. I've posted a few of them here. The 1st picture is Tederrick on the F14 that we have housed in Hangar 79 waiting on restoration. The 2nd is the group heading back to Hangar 37. They were here for RIMPAC and were a delight to have on tour :) - Raye

Coming on the heels of our 2nd Pearl Harbor Bombing display, our curatorial staff is nearly ready to put a new exhibit onto the main floor of Hangar 37. The graphics are the last component that we're waiting for. When the graphics arrive the curatorial staff will be able to add in the rest of the artifacts for the display. The final step will be wheeling it out onto the floor for all of the visitors to enjoy :)
