"HUGE UPDATE !!!

Lots of news about Mark and his music! First of all, we can now finally reveal that the next release coming up is a collaboration with none other than Holland's biggest promise for the future of trance, Menno de Jong! 

Mark and Menno have been friends for many years and decided to put their heads together to come up with some fresh sounding stuff. And fresh it is. Already receiving two thumbs up by Armin van Buuren, Menno de Jong & Mark Otten - 'Mad World' is going to be released soon on a new sublabel of Intuition Recordings, Intuition Deep. Watch out, coming soon!

Next to that, a collaboration was finished with Fine Taste! Having a great time in the studio with these two amazing producers, things have been taken more to the housey side. Keep checking the site for more info on title, release date, etc.

And even more cool stuff to mention: Mark has just started a new project with Raz Nitzan, Adrian Broekhuyse and Paul Moelands! The first two shouldn't need any introduction, having been responsible for huge bombs like 'The Sound of Goodbye' (with Armin), 'Free' (with Stuart), 'The Space We Are' (with Ronski Speed), and many many more. Paul Moeland is the extremely talented youngster behind the Re:Locate guise. Mark has just moved his studio next to Raz and Adrian's, so let's see what this will lead to! The first track is already finished, more news to follow soon!"

UPDATE AND CONTEST !!!

Things are going very well for mister Otten! His latest remix, The Blizzard - Kalopsia (Mark Otten Energetic Remix), is just out on vinyl and download, after receiving raving feedback from the likes of Armin van Buuren, ATB and many more. It also ended up in the Beatport & Trance.nu top 10, which can be bought here! A preview is now available on this website on the Discography and Audio page.

Next to that, other tracks are still doing very well! Rio Addicts - The Distance is now also featured on the brand new Dancefloor Sessions album by Blake Jarrell, after it was included on the hugely succesful A State of Trance 2007-album. Time Is Serene, the mash-up version of So Serene by Armin van Buuren himself, is still selling and was in the Audiojelly top 10 for a long time! Mind you, we are talking about a track that originally was released in december 2005, almost 2 years ago!!! This is very unique in dance-music...

Meanwhile, Mark is working on new material. A very special collaboration is now being finished, and the results are amazing! More info to follow soon...

MARK GRADUATED FROM UNIVERSITY !!!

MarkOtten.com would like to congratulate Mark with his graduation from Eindhoven University of Technology! This week he turned Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management Science. Luckily for you folks, this means he will finally have more time for music again. So who knows what the future will bring...

Hey everyone,

Well I have been on MySpace for some time now, but one thing I did wrong in the beginning is still not corrected: I should have made myself an artist page right away, but I didn't! If you go to the help pages, it is said that you have to contact the MySpace guys and they will change your normal page into a music page. However, I've emailed them twice and never heard anything about it anymore (not surprisingly if you ask me, with 75 million people asking them questions!).

So, I wonder: does anyone have an idea to help me put my songs on my page, without needing to open a new account? It would be great to finally have the grey box in the top right corner at last! I'd be very thankful if you could!
