I have to say Timothy Freke's books, "The Laughing Jesus" and "Jesus and the Lost Goddess" are very inspiring to me. Most of my life, I have been made to think that Christianity is the only faith out there. When I started to learn about another, Wicca, I quickly realized that Christianity today is more of a power control ideology then anything else. This by no means that Christianity is a bad religion, but it has been abuse as far bas as the Roman Catholic Church. I am beginning to believe that what we know about Christianity today is nothing like the original Christianity.

I left Christianity a little over a year ago because of gigantic arrogance of the Church and most Christians. Through a pastor-teacher that had majored in Hebrew, Greek, Theology, and History, I have learned a great deal about humility and integrity. Without really knowing it, I needed more then what I was getting from this pastor-teacher. It was when I started to read about Wicca that I started to realize that Christianity alone was not enough for me. When I was going through my library's online card catalog I found "Jesus and the lost Goddess," by Timothy Freke. It has opened me up to see that even Wicca itself could not fulfill what I need.

Even though I am very strong towards the Wiccan faith, I have come to realize that my spiritual life is in my control and my full responsibility by reading Timothy Freke's books. At this posting, I have read a small portion of "The Laughing Jesus" Releigous Lies and Gnostic Wisdom." Unfortunately I have not fully read "Jesus and the Lost Goddess." Hopefully I will be able to read both books completely.

I wanted to share this here on MySpace to simply state that please do not blindly follow anything in your life. If you step outside of your day-to-day life, you may see something important about your life as I have. Christianity might be one of the largest in the World, but what you might be learning or have learned may not be correct for you. You may see there is more to experience then the small narrow ideologies you have been accustom to learn and experience. Timothy Freke's books is simply getting you to stop looking through a very small key hole and open the door all the way.

Blessed Be

Former Chief Rabbi of Israel and Holocaust survivor Yisrael Meir Lau describes how he felt when he read Anne Frank's diary for the first time after his arrival in Israel.

If you have read any amount about this part of history, then you know that it is important not to forget this part of history. The Holocaust was more then against the Jews, but against freedom for all. Who could be next? With the recent events with post September 11, 2001, these group of people can do things a lot worse then Hitler.
