This month we will officially release our daily updated website. After four successful releases, it's time to go live on the internet and inform our fanbase about (independent, jazzy, good) Hip Hop music.

Stats
We understand lots of artists/people want to spread the word about their music, product, website or other stuff they'd like to share. The Find Magazine is a great medium to reach a young, active, passioned and Hip Hop-related audience.

Online Readers: 57.578 (at www.issuu.com)
PDF Downloads: 6.854 (at www.rapidshare.com and www.mediafire.com)
Genre: Music, Art, Culture
Audience: (Independent, jazzy, genuine) Hip Hop fans, young, passioned, worldwide

So The Find Magazine reaches a big audience when you advertise on our website.

Ads
The possibilities are diverse. An advertisement on our front page, your album available on our website, maybe it's even possible to get featured in the format of an interview or review. It all depends on your wishes.

For just a small amount of money you can feature your music, product or something else on our website. No taxes, no rules, no snakes in the grass: we advertise for a small amount of money. Simple as that!

Contact
Please message us on Myspace or contact us at thefindmagazine [@] gmail.com if you're interested. Then we'll discuss further details, costs and possibilities.

Thanks.

Current mood:  relaxed

After the successful release of Issue Three, you might be wondering where we are now. We’re still alive and kicking, so here’s an important update about The Find Magazine.

Change of Heart?

We always sticked to our PDF-releases, but now we gonna walk on another path. We’re working on it and soon we’ll release the official website of The Find Magazine! The bad news: no periodical PDF-issues for a while… The good news: daily updates, more content, bigger interviews, free music, video and audio, etc etc. So that means The Find will continue as a solid website!

Boring
NO! We won’t be the same as every other Hip Hop-based website/blog. We want to be unique, something new and ‘revolutionary’. Call it ‘2.0’, call it ‘the new black’, call it ‘trendy’ – we just want to start something you don’t know yet. Hopefully The Find will become the #1 source for Independent Hip Hop/Music. We need you as reader, fan and participant, so please stay with us.

Twitter

We’re not a big fan of Twitter, but we have to admit it’s good to have an account as a medium. That’s why we’re on Twitter now! Right now we’ll keep you updated about the progress on the website and we’ll post about some interesting stuff/music, but as soon as the site’s up and running, our Twitter will be a goldmine of scoops, headlines, updates and music!

That’s it.

Don’t forget about us, because we won’t forget about you.

Been a while, so time for another update!

We already announced April 1st as the releasedate of Issue Three! It might come a little bit later, but please keep your eyes and ears open around that date for our brand new issue!

This time less time-based reviews, but more interesting articles, interviews with great artists, good (new) music and of course you'll find a lot more content.

I'm not gonna tell you who the interviewed artists are; not want to spoil the surprise :) But I can say one of them is a genuis producer, the other one is a pioneer in the world of Jazzy Hip Hop and last but not least we have someone who's in the game for almost twenty years!

No doubt that you'll like this issue. So far I am really proud of what the full crew did. Thank you all! Designers, writers, editors and even all artists, readers, people who supported us and who gave us feedback - everyone!

Stay thirsty,

Danny

What's up everyone,

Like you all know, getting published is one of our main goals. Right now it's kinda expensive, especially because our magazine is non-profit and we don't have any income from sponsors or something.

Because we're growing pretty fast and because our mag improved A LOT since day one, we wanna try to set our first baby-steps towards a published magazine.

We can use some help from you, though.
If you can help us out with contacts of a (suitable/independent) publisher, with some names of good publishers, with financial sponsors and other stuff like that: PLEASE let us know! All info is welcome.

Thanks in advance,

The Find Crew

Ps) Issue Three will drop somewhere in March. Be prepared, gonna be amazing:)

No, we didn't fire Pishoo / Will (who did a great job on the design of our
previous issues), but due to issues with time and him being extremely busy, we are in need of a designer who can help us out this time.

Info:

- You'll help with the design of the content in the magazine
- It will be on voluntary base; our magazine is non-profit so we can't pay you, only with ' promotion'
- You can work alone or together with other designers (depends on what you want)
- Our next issue will drop in March, so the work will be in february/partly in march

You have to:

- ... be experienced with InDesign (CS3/CS4)
- ... be as passionate about this project as we are
- ... got some time in february/march to help us out. Don't be afraid, it won't be a fulltime job!
- ... be excited to do it.If you jump in the deep with us, please don't withdraw from it after a week or so!

So actually some basic stuff! :)
-----

Interested? Please send us a message on Myspace or send us an e-mail
at thefindmagazine@gmail.com  with more info about you and if possible, some examples of your designs!

- Danny / Heaps

Ps) We're always on the look for great articles/interviews/reviews. So if you're a writer/journalist/blogger that'd like to participate on our next issue, also hit us up!
