Latin Pop-Rock star Monte*Rosa continues to achieve new heights in his career.  Just last Sunday in Miami , Florida, his hometown audience was not only supportive of seeing one of their favorite artists but were also enthralled by a sharp, dead-on tight and pumping show at the Fillmore Miami Beach as opening act for famed Argentine band Enanitos Verdes.


From the very second Monte*Rosa walked on stage the audience grew with sheer excitement, chants of MONTE-ROSA and applause. From the first song to the uplifting ending with his classic track "Mi Cielo Perdio Un Angel" every second of his performance was a brilliant mix of music, lyrics and showmanship.



"It was an amazing moment for me; totally unforgettable ! Finally I had the opportunity to do a show for my fans in my hometown and in a venue that gave them the best of what I can do; I love playing in pubs, bars and intimate locations... but this night belonged to them... it was all about them and giving back what I have so graciously received.

" In light of the attention garnered from last Sunday, Monte*Rosa now embarks on an ambitious Fall tour that will make stops in Orlando (November 28th), New York and Puerto Rico thereafter. Next on his agenda will be the taping of the second music video for the second single "No Me Importa Mucho" off the album "12 Historias en 3 Tonos". Dates and locations for all of these events to be announced shortly.

Después de casi 2 años de no regresar a mi ciudad natal de Barranquilla, Colombia y casi 20 años de no hacer que mi estadía fuese mas de 6 días, vuelvo a poner los pies en un lugar que no solo me trae recuerdos de una niñez muy llena de sorpresas pero también de lo que era ser de esta tierra tan llena de vida. Aun cuando las situaciones no pinten tan buenas para todos, uno siempre encuentra como sacarle el lado bueno a todo y divertirse de una u otra manera. Unos mas que otros, pero siempre hay algo bueno de que hablar y de que reírse o burlarse. No han sido vacaciones, pero mas como un encuentro con viejos y nuevos amigos que sin razón alguna me dieron libertad de entrar en su universo y compartir con ellos mas allá de un simple "hola, mucho gusto!"... Hoy puedo decir libremente que no hay distancia que quiebre esa unión que uno crea con una persona. Solo esta la integridad de cada una para mantener esas ganas de saludar, de hacer reír, de ayudar, aun cuando uno esta lejos, para hacer que otros se sientan bien. Sin esperar nada a cambio.
Mis presentaciones y visitas a los medios han sido un éxito total! Seguiré con mas ganas el resto de este año para traer a mi familia, amigos, barrio y ciudad mas alegría y fuerzas para demostrar que todo aquel que se propone a hacer algo digno de reconocimiento, siempre puede hacerlo. Por muy difícil que parezca, todo tiene un final lleno de vida si te lo propones y trabajas hacia esa meta.
