Hey everyone, sorry we've been out of the loop. This past month has been extremely busy for us. We traveled to Utah to finish recording a full length album at Unknown Studios which is currently being mixed by Mark Blewett , so far it is sounded really good.
No word can describe how grateful we are with everyone there. Our producer/brother Branden Steineckert and his crew are the best!



In other news....FEBRUARY 27!!!!!!! is the day our album will be available on iTUNES and on our online store!!

Hello Friends,

Well with 2008 finally drawing near to the end we figured we would fill you in on what has happened over the past year and what to expect in the near future.

We have done some really amazing things this year and we are happy with where it has led us and the positive effect it has had on us as individuals. We played with Hawthorne Heights, Lydia Vance, The Stript, Hang'em High, Almost Normal and multiple other bands this year that has been a blast. In August, we traveled to Sturgis, South Dakota and played the biggest show of our lives with KISS in front of 30,000 people, we picked up Macbeth as our first sponsor, we had the amazing opprotunity to record a cover of the Cristmas classic, "White Christmas", in the Studio at the Palms with Mark Gray this November. Most importantly we have bonded as brothers over the time we have been in this band and it is something that makes us stong and keeps us going no matter what. From movie nights to old video games nights at Daves house we have created a great bond and we are so stoked to know that we get to travel, record, play shows, and just hang out together as best friends.

Thanks to our friends out there that have stood by us and dealt with hearing one song for so long and not giving up on us. It really means alot to us.

Now for the near future....As of January 12th, 2009, Searchlight will be at Unknown Studios in Utah recording our debut album with Branden Steineckert! The album should be released in mid-late Febraury. We will also be mapping out a tour, getting some new songs on our page..finally:) and getting some awesome new merchandise.

We will keep you posted with new updates and progress in the studio accordingly.

Like we always say..Thank YOU...for us to do the thing we love the most and have you guys stand by us is an amazing feeling that will never go away:)

Thank you for all of your support. I know we say it alot, but really, thank you so much for everything. Knowing that so many people are listening to our songs is one of the best feelings we will ever know in our lives. I could go on ang on, but I'll keep this one short, as I usually tend to write a novel when I write bulletins and blogs. And remember to feel free to write us whenever you guys want. Whether it's to say hi or to even talk to us about a problem. We consider all of you our friends. Now I know that raises the "cheesy" factor by about 90% haha, but we really mean that. Like I said before, it's a pretty big deal to know that of all of the songs and all of the bands in the world you actually take time to listen to something we've created. Really, thank you for that. You're all making four guys plucking at strings, banging on drums and yelling into mics pretty happy.
