Dear All,

Dion was allowed to come home today as she has responded so well to the anti-biotics. She is still in pain and is resting in bed but it's good to have her back home. She was given a bagful of medicines to continue taking and is going to hopefully have a restful weekend. We are very grateful that she did not have to have surgery and hope that she continues to improve at the current rate.

She is hoping to feel well enough to be able to do the gig on Tuesday at the 12 Bar Club (fingers crossed!). She wants to thank each and every one of you for your thoughts and prayers and we feel sure that they've helped a lot! Thank you for bearing with us at this time. We hope that life will return to 'normal' soon (whatever that may be ;)).

Dion slept much better last night in her private room. The doctor has told her this morning that he has found the infection in her blood also, and that this could mean that the problem does lie with her appendix. She has been put back on a morphine drip for the pain and is being closely monitored. She managed to eat some toast and tea this morning - the first food and drink for two days, she said it was the best food she's ever tasted LOL.

She's in good spirits and I think the private room has really helped that. She's been doing lots of drawing as the fancy takes her.

Good Weather Girl (Dion and Shem's band) were due to do a gig on Tuesday at the 12 Bar club, we aren't sure if that's going to be possible at this stage. If some miracle happens - who knows? I was quite looking forward to it myself. It's not canceled at this stage, but it may have to be. I will keep the updates going here.

I have just got back from the hospital, I've left Dion to catch up on some sleep after she had a difficult night. The doctor was going to do a laparoscopy this morning but got confirmation that she is suffering from an E-COLI infection. She was already on strong anti-biotics since her admission yesterday and thankfully the ones she's on are good at treating this infection. The doctor is holding off on any surgery due to the presence of this infection. She is being closely monitored and is on saline and pain killers through IV, as well as the anti-biotics. She was allowed to drink water for the first time in two days today. She is allowed to eat but wasn't hungry. She is still in pain and may still need surgery, depending on what happens next.

We all thank you for your love and support. She's being made very comfortable and her room is very nice, as are the nurses. I shall be heading back up there later with Shem.

Hi Folks,

Dion returned from the America yesterday and was looking forward to getting back to work on the t shirts but after being in lots of pain on the flight and all yesterday she went to see the doctor this morning. She was rushed to hospital with suspected appendicitis and tests are being carried out to determine what course of action needs to be taken.

She is in good spirits (possibly helped by the morphine drip for pain) and cannot eat nor drink as she may need emergency surgery.

I would ask you to keep her in your thoughts and if any of you pray that you say a little prayer for her. I will try to keep you updated.

Of course Shem and I are there for her but we want her back home with us!

Any t shirt business will have to be on hold for a little while as I'm sure you know that Dion is the master printer. We hope she'll be home and well soon, please send her some love.

Hello People, Soo here.

I was just thinking that I haven't happened across anyone who has bought one of Dion's T shirts walking down the street wearing it yet. True they've gone far and wide but it must happen one day.... So, when it does, whoever is the first person spotted in their officiel shirt will get another one free (as long as they let me/Dion take a picture). You never know where I might turn up ;). Same goes if it's Dion who sees you - and she's out and about a lot more than myself so that doubles your chances;). If you haven't got one yet, perhaps it's time you did :).

And cheapskate imitations will not suffice - we know how to tell our own ;).
