We finally got a start on putting our merchandise that we sell at our shows online, so that those of you who either can't make it to our shows or didn't have cash when you saw us live can wear our shirts, mail our postcards to friends, put our 8x10s on the wall in your den, and hang our posters up in the garage!  Go to the Pretty Things Peepshow Shop to see what we have up so far - will be adding stickers, buttons and more very soon!

It's snowing in Baltimore (so glad we're driving south!)  Just finished our first solid week of shows, ending with Palace of Wonders in DC last night.  It was such a treat to be in a heated venue (thank you snake charmer!).  The night before we were chilly in Philly, no heat in the Tin Angel, brrr!  When your job is taking your clothes off, it's hard to get motivated when you see your breath INSIDE, haha.  The night before that w were in the collest venue ever, Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, NJ.  It's a fully-functional vintage bowling alley with a stage in the centre lanes.  The staff there were SO amazing and helpful and made the vegans in our crew delicious food, and the crowd was great too, braving the indoor cold (as the heating system had gone out that day) and making it a super fun show all around.  Special thanks to Pat for putting us up in his lovely home down the street and treating us all to warm beds, hot showers and fresh bagels in the morning.  People like you remind us why touring is the best life ever!
We've already made so many great friends, and it's only the first week.  Here's to new friends and warmer temperatures on the horizon!  Thanks to everyone who has come out to our shows so far!

Pretty Things

Enroute to our show in Wilmington our tour van caught on fire, so we had to run out onto the offramp in the freezing cold, make sure all the dogs were safely outside and waited for the fire to be out.  Luckily, 2 firetrucks later, lots of helpful cops and a kindly gentleman with a fire extinguisher and a knack fro traffic redirection later, and a VERY helpful tow truck driver named Larry's help, we have the problem fixed and we're almost on our way to our show at Mojo 13 in Wilmington, DE tonight...it may be a little later than usual, but the show will go on and we are determined to make it our best show ever!  Please tell all your friends in the area to come out to the show, we have a lot of repairs to pay for!!
