I want to thank you all again for submitting your co-leader applications. We have a lot of good prospects! I have narrowed it down to a few and will be contacting them throughout the week so I can hopefully announce two new co-leaders by the end of the week!

However, we need to get started on promotion for the upcoming shows asap! We will talk about more details later (street team member meet ups, other promotion ideas, etc) after I pick these co-leaders, but if you want to get started promoting now-here is how you can help! Hellloooo STeamers!

Sorry for the long time no talk! I have been in the process of , not only
moving back to good ol' Ohio (ehhhh....), but also getting back into
another great year of college...as well as a million other things- like
running a student run record label, and trying to find a house to live in
next year, but we won't get into all that! The reason why I say all of this is because....

It seems like as Tyler's record gets closer and closer to being done, I have been getting more and more
busy and therefore having less and less time to work on the street team.
Therefore I have decided that it is FINALLY time for me to start looking
for a co-leader (or 2) to give me a bit of help! You will find that I
have attached an application. If you are interested in helping me run the
street team (send out emails, add members to the team, update the
myspace/facebook pages, run meetings, etc etc) PLEASE fill out an
application and send it back to me!

Now, since Tyler is going to be going on tour soon and we need to start
promoting for these shows, I am going to need these applications asap! So
if you are interested, please email me a finished application by OCTOBER
8TH.

If you have any questions at all, please let me know and I will try my
best to answer asap!

Are you all ready for the 3 Hour Tour show this Sunday?! Incase you haven't heard (or have heard and just forgot...don't worry-I do that daily-ha!) if you bring a NEW children's book onboard (I love that I can use that word for a show and have it be true...), you will be entered into a drawing to win a SIGNED acoustic guitar!
Don't have any new books...or can't get to a bookstore in time??? You can also buy raffle tickets for $5 each!
So not only is this going to be a SAWEET show...but you also have the chance to win a really cool prize for a really great cause!

Thank you to you all who have notified me about wanting a street team shirt so far! If you haven't already, please just shoot me an email and let me know! :o)

But REALLY what this email is about is to let you all know about a sweet new contest Warner Bros. is putting on to help promote Tyler's not one...but TWO upcoming shows at The Mint in LA! Here is a description of the contest:
"Tyler needs your help promoting his two new LA shows! Send an email to teamtylerhilton@gmail.com to request flyers. Use the flyers in coffee shops, at other concerts, or your local hangout to help spread the word. Make sure you take photos and document all the work you've done to help out. Hey Dude(ettes)!
So...I wanted to send out a reminder email on Tuesday about going out and getting Charlie Bartlett (which you better all have done!) on the new email address we were going to try out (since some of you guys haven't been getting the emails lately :o( I'm sorry!) but it didn't work! I am going to keep trying though and hopefully get it figured out soon, asap, pronto, etc etc...
But since that email didn't get out...I am sending this one...SO GO PICK UP YOUR VERY OWN COPY OF CHARLIE BARTLETT NOW...or else ;o)

And just announced today...Tyler will be playing 2 solo acoustic shows at the Mint in LA on July 15th and 31st! More details to come later-I will try to keep you all updated on that!

Also, I forgot to mention this in the last email, but if you could-please
shoot me an email and let me know if you are interested in getting a
street team shirt. If you could let me know within the next week-that
would be awesome!

Now, this doesn't mean that you are ordering a shirt or that I will hold

Okay...so maybe not LITERALLY coming to your house...but I'm sure you all knew that right? Or did we have a few "Mandy Moments" where some of you actually got excited for a second? Don't be embarrassed...it happens to the best of us :o)
But anyways...it's (somewhat) true! This Tuesday (June 24th) you can FINALLY purchase that DVD you have all been waiting for! Even better yet, you can preorder "Charlie Bartlett" on Amazon here: Amazon
Dooooo it! I mean, it is getting way to hot to be outside and active, so why not veg out in front of the TV and watch your favorite bully sell some drugs! Sounds like a great time to me...but I guess I am a bit bias :o)

There has been slow, but still progress (!), on the street team t-shirts! I am really hoping to get these out to you all by the end of the summer-promise! I'll try and make it happen just in time for you all to go back and sport these things around school! (yesss...I said the dreaded "s'' word right in the beginning of summer...don't throw too many things at me please...)

4. Mandy's apologizes!
Sorry I have been relatively MIA lately...with the quarter winding down and my internship getting closer (not to mention I am now the president of Brick City Records! yay!) things have been CRAZY! Do not fret though! Cool things will be coming! PROMISE! I also know I promised some kind of thank you for all of you who helped out with the charity drive...I have not forgotten! Those should be going out soon :o)

We raised....309 books for T.H. Books for Kids! THAT IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! We not only beat our 100 book AND our 200 book goal...but donated 109 extra books! YOU GUYS TRULY ROCK!
