This is an important post for anyone interested in seeing Ethnamorte live!

Stargreen is selling tickets to a show featuring us on Sunday 29th November at Cross Kings!
To put it simply, not only was this event never confirmed with the related venue, but we also wrote to withdraw our original interest to play there.

Subsequently, this ticket sale is null and void as there is no EthnaMorte show anywhere on 29th November. So if anyone bought any tickets off Stargreen before it was tagged as sold-out, please re-contact Stargreen for any refunds.

Notwithstandingly, EthnaMorte excuse themselves for any inconvenience this might have caused, as we look forward to play for you at The Grosvenor this Thursday 3rd December.

8 musicians, 5 languages, 4 vocalists, 20 instruments + 1 guest dancer starting with support act Atomic Crashdown at 8.30pm followed by us at 9.30ish! More details at our gig listings section & http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=166475846133!

Current mood:  enlightened
Hi all,

some news after some hibernation time due to things happening behind the scenes.

1) Our studio rehearsal is finally online and can be heard at http://www.myspace.com/ethnamorte. We have had near 300 hits to our page since the last week (without promoting it) so we are chuffed at your support! Thank you!
A CD with additional material is under consideration!

2) We have parted ways with both Udi Glaser (guitars) and Vincenzo Quorenero (long time vocalist). While thanking them for their contribution so far, we wish them all the best with their own paths.

And although the remaining line-up of guitars/keyboards/backing vocals, flutist & percussionist/vocals has meanwhile already auditioned a number of vocalists (including a throat singer), a cellist, some guitarists and some percussionists, we are being very picky this time around, so the posts are STILL OPEN and if anyone is interested - or you know anyone who is - in filling the posts, pls check these ads -

> bilingual male/female vocals ad at
http://www.gumtree.com/london/12/44707312.html
> nylon string guitarist ad at http://www.gumtree.com/london/75/45322275.html
> percussionist (for later this year when current one leaves London) as at http://www.gumtree.com/london/69/44558733.html
> bass/double bass player/cello ad at http://www.gumtree.com/london/97/45211497.html

End September gig and others lined up! So fast learners please!

3) EthnaMorte have also been interviewed on the 12th edition of www.extremenoiseradio.com (download) &
http://www.tonisant.com/blog/2009/07/someday-soon.shtml (podcast). Both interviews are in Maltese (listen to this unique semantic-latin language) but more in English to follow. If you are in touch with radio stations wanting to play our music, let us know.

4) "The Moroccan who went to Jamaica" - intrigued? wait for more news!
