Here is my second blog ever. (As I get used to doing this, it will happen more often (-: )  Nonetheless, I celebrate a new type of independence today:  a deeper understanding of technology.  I learned how to update and enhance this webpage.  I feel somewhat empowered by this and a bit more free.  I feel more connected to you all (especially those of you who are reading this)  I suppose it is a glimpse on a microcosmic level of an experience of the tao.  I sense more oneness than I did before, ironically, through the modern means of technology which is only cyberreality if one chooses to remain detached.  I choose to enter in and fully experience, and I hope you will choose to do so with me.  This is my whole purpose for writing, recording, and performing (and writing this blog).  I love to create an atmosphere in which one can enter deep within through the music and/or words and sounds and experience profoundly what is being expressed. Thus I am grateful to be able to share some of that experience via the internet for those who are not in the area where I now perform.  But I hope to get to your area someday as well.  It is in God's hands.  As I enjoy this journey, I sometimes patiently, sometimes anxiously, but always eagerly  await to see where it will lead.  Hopefully I'll see you soon.

I am in my infancy of becoming computer savvy, and I must confess, I love it.  It feels so good to be connected with many friends, and many yet-to-be friends, simultaneously.  To have one's personal expression potentially shared with the world through the ether of the net is a sublime and intimate experience.  Thus, I have uploaded for the first time today, selections from my CD release, "Simplicity", and there will be more to come.  In the near future, I will reserve one of the four selections for a recently recorded live song.  In this way, you can hear how I am currently performing with a loop station, and thus allowing the songs to emerge, grow, develop, and take on a life of their own through immediate inspiration.  I hope you enjoy each and every track, and I am always eager to hear your feedback.  I will keep my shows posted on this page, and I hope to see you there sometime, to be a part of the musical experience.  If you would like to be on my concert announcement list which gives more details regarding the shows, please send me your e-mail, and I'll put you on it right away.  Peace to you always.  Mark Lang
