I was dozing off last night when I had one of those surface-like dreams. Very short...We (royal we, I guess) were playing ultimate frisbee or some shit, and someone threw the frisbee in my direction.

Of course, it hit me in the dick. And of course, it was heavily weighted (like a shot putt). So the next 30 seconds consisted of me doubled over in excruiating pain. It was so painful that I woke up , and my junk still hurt.

I sat up and told Inna, and of course she laughed at me (she was photoshopping pictures).

Current mood:  sweaty

I was in this haunted frat house last night with a bunch of random people that I didn’t recognize. We were all being chased by zombies. Occasionally, these zombies would break down the barrier that we would set up between us, and we’d have to chop them to bits with these tiny axes. Fucking nasty. I felt the ax, like, going through the skull of a human (or, zombie, I guess) over and over again. But I had to do it, otherwise I’d be killed.

So at one point, section B of my dream begins: you know how you’ll be having one of those long-ass dreams and then all of a sudden, there’s a really intense paradigmatic shift (like the cast of the dream is completely different, or everyone in the dream starts swimming for no reason)? The one that occurred in this dream is that all of these zombies turned into kitten-zombies and were even more ferocious than ever. And more dangerous…they could run up your leg and shit. So now I’m hacking away at kitten-zombies. Stressful.

Finally, I see Mini-Cat (my reality cat). And guess what! She’s NOT a zombie! I think I woke up shortly after.

I'd like to meet someone who does nice, short films. I have tons of ideas for 3-10 minute scenarios that would be the shit. Usually, the ideas come from one of those REALLY abstract dreams people have RIGHT before they fall asleep. Those seem to be the hardest to remember since temporally, they're the farthest away moment in a sleep cycle (i.e. it's much easier to remember the dream you were in right before you woke up). But seriously, I like those first ones...

Anyway, here's a short film (some of you have heard this).

Black and white, no sound (maybe some shitty-wire buzz). Still shot of the back of a building, in an alley or something. In the center, a commerical dumpster bin. Camera is about 15 feet away...From the right side of the screen, enter: a black cat. Normal domestic cat frame, about 15 lbs. She comes in to the shot, immediately runs behind the dumpster, now completely out of view of the camera. A pause (important), about 40 seconds, nothing is happening. Then, from the other side of the dumpster, the same cat emerges. This time, it is about, say, 70 lbs yet it still possesses the frame of the domestic cat. Now it's a medium-sized cat. She emerges fully from behind the dumpster, sits on the pavement next to it and briefly cleans herself. Then, as though she were unaware of the camera, she sees it (you) and stares right back. For about a 1min.

Here, you could drop some special effects or something, maybe make the cat glow or some shit. Then, the new cat exits to our left. So, we're looking at about a 5 min film roughly? That's flexible.
