After a summer and spring of jamming frequently, we're most likely going to take it slow until Fall and will probably do a couple of shows by year's end to commemorate the release of the new CD.

SAY HEY!

Say Hey!

So yo, Mark here. I just figured we've been quiet and I should put everyone who cares up to speed on what we're doing.

SHOWS:
We're in the middle of a live show hiatus. We'll come out of said hiatus this spring. Me and Joey Balls (guitar) are both turning 30 in May, joining already 30 somethings Johnny (drums) and Brock (bass). We are planning our next show not to take place until around the bdays. We'll call the performance "The All Washed Up Celebration" and it should be one of the biggest parties of the year. We'll be sure to post the date and the venue as soon as its official. Expect it to be in Westchester County on a Saturday as usual. After that, we'll probably do a few more shows through the end of summer.

SONGS
The live hiatus is a result of us focusing on recording new material. As of today, we are in the midst of putting some finishing touches on three tracks with Hutch roster member Stevie Z up at Ecstatica Studios in Port Jervis, NY. The songs are called "Poor Heidi", "Voodude" and "The Party's Over." We'll post a couple of them on this site once we have a close to finished mix on them, hopefully by the end of this month or early February.

NEW DEMO
We plan to put out another DIY full length CD/demo by this summer. We've recorded a few tracks here and there since January 2008 (including Beer=Dude currently on our profile). All of these songs, and a couple yet to be recorded will combine for a full 12 songs which will make up the new CD, tentatively titled "Twoish." As always, here is the place to come for updates. We're aiming to have the initial copies ready for distro by our All Washed Up show in May, BUT I'm not promising anything!

In the meantime, if you haven't gotten a copy of our first CD, Demo: The Album it is still available FREE, yes FREE of charge. It's a burned copy with a xeroxed insert but the songs are what counts right? All you have to do is send us a mailing address and we'll mail you out a copy. Send your info to ForTheHutch@gmail.com and we'll get it out to you the cd in the coming weeks.

So yo, two relevant CD notes:

We have just finished printing more copies of DEMO: THE ALBUM, our debut CD of 12 songs that we first "released" in January. The cd is burned and homemade, but it is FREE yes FREE! E-mail your mailing addy to forthehutch@gmail.com and we will mail you a copy ASAP.

The second note is we are heading up to Port Jervis and Ecstatica Studios to lay down some tracks with Stevie Z in December. The new songs we are recording will be combined with five songs we did with Tom Rosato this past spring. We'll also likely package a couple of redone remastered songs from back in the Team 13 days (t-13 is me and Johnny's previous band and the predecessor of Hutch). All together it will be another 12-song CD tentatively titled TWOISH. That new CD should be out in Spring of 2009. In the meantime we'll try to post a song or two on the space to hold you over during the next five months or so until the new cd is out. ANd if you haven't gotten our first cd yet don't be a foo! It's free kid, so send that email.
