It's been a couple years, almost 2 to be exact, but we're kicking off the 2009 summer with a riot at the House of Blues on Saturday June 6th!

A fantastic trio of bands for the night, starting with us, The Insecurities, and Dot Dot Dot is headlining. If you haven't seen Dot, they're one of the most entertaining bands I've ever seen, I promise they will impress! Not to mention, we'll have a fantastic set in my favorite venue in all of Chicago.

Tickets are $13 and can be purchased in advance here:
http://www.houseofblues.com/tickets/eventdetail.php?eventid=57554

I suggest gettng tickets in advance, as I can't promise the show won't sell out :)

Doors at 7:30
We're on at 8:30

We've got a great lineup of shows on the books for the summer, check them out at www.sethbradley.com and I hope to see you at House of Blues!

Hello everyone,

The time has come for me to ask for some help from some of you out there. With the release of my new EP, "Waking up on Broadway," it has occurred to me that I alone cannot promote my music effectively enough, so that's where I need some help here. I'm really trying to launch this project and get the word out, so I'm trying to develop a street team in and around the Chicago and Midwest area to help with it.

How does that involve you and what can you do to help? Well, primarily I need help with getting promo material out to the masses. I don't have enough hands or time to do it all on my own, and the more we get the word out, the better! So, this is where I need help the most...passing out cards at other shows, helping to throw up fliers around the city, helping to grow the fan base by growing my email newsletter, and just basically being an advocate for me and my music :)

Will it involve a ton of your time? No, you can feel free to help when and where you please. What's in it for you? Well, lets see what we can come up with here....

Anyone that enlists to help will receive 5 free copies of my new EP to do what they please with. Hand them out, sell them for profit, build a gingerbread house with them, burn them (not really), do whatever you want with them! Also, by helping out, I can help you out with free tickets to my shows from time to time, and you'll also receive exclusive music tracks and demos that no one else gets to hear. I'll also put on a private concert from time to time that no one else but yourselves can attend. If there's anything else I can do to help YOU out, I'd be happy to, since you're helping ME out. I'm flexible and open to ideas!

Please send me a message if you're interested or have questions, I hope some of you can help me in growing my career around the Midwest. Lets make this thing happen!!

It's done, it's finally finished!

Late last week we finished up everything we needed, we mixed, we mastered, and sent it off for duplication! We're all super pumped about how the new EP sounds, we're really happy and excited to let everyone hear it. I'll be posting a few tracks over the next few weeks, so keep you eyes and ears open for it, I'll make sure to bulletin when I do. As for now, check out "Stars on the Ceiling" at the top of my page. I'll also have more info as to where you can obtain a copy here soon, if you have any questions for me, feel free to get a hold of me.

Talk to you soon,

~Seth

Current mood:  satisfied
Well,

days 1 and 2 are wrapped up.  I think we're all a little tired, Baron and Ryne especially, they're really the one's who worked their asses off over the past two days!  The first day was a 14 hour session, and yesterday went just over 12 hours.  Not really any hiccups or problems at all, everything went smoothly, the guys played fantastically, our producer and head engineer were locked in and focused, and overall, I couldn't ask for a better experiece so far!  Our assistants Jeff and Andrew are very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with as well.  We have some KICK-ASS drum and bass tracks to work with, and the overall vibe with the whole team felt really really good!

We have a month of down time now to get guitar and keyboard parts locked in place before tracking them.  It's nice to step back and let things breathe for a while, as you can imagine, after hearing the same songs play nonstop for hours on end, its a well deserved and needed break for all of us.  With the month off, I'm getting album art done and promo material lined up before plastering this town with my music!

Keep checking back, I'll continue to give updates as things unfold.  Until then, take care and we'll talk soon!

The time has come.  I've been waiting months to be able to write this blog, but its here at last!

I'm very happy to announce a new EP is underway!  Stefan Clark is on board to produce the project, and he's done some really great work in the past, so we're all pumped to have him with us.  We'll be doing the record at Chicago Recording Company (Stefan's home base) and he's assembled a wonderful team of engineers to work on the project as well.

The band and I are hard at work and shooting to get into start tracking in mid-April.  This puts us at a beginning of summer release, at the same time the music world explodes with summer festivals, shows etc.  Expect a busy summer from us!

The live shows might slow a bit in the next 2 months, but in the meantime, come check us out this Wednesday night at Subterranean.  Show starts at 9, we'll be on just after 10 or so.  $5 cover is all you need at the door, so its not too expensive!

Questions about any of this?  Go ahead and shoot me a message, I'd be happy to discuss!

Take care, see you soon,

~Seth

Current mood:  calm

Hello all,

it's been a while since I've been in touch with you all through a blog, so thought I would take a few minutes of vacation time to post a little blurb about the podcast we recently did in Chicago.  Things have been good, we just played a solid show at the Double Door, I've got a solo show tomorrow night at SOP's in Peoria on New Years Eve, and we've been talking and throwing ideas around as to what songs we would like to put on a new record.  More news on that later, but hopefully soon I'll have a new product for you to sink your teeth into!

Anyway, check out our podcast that we did in Lincoln Park for Chicago Acoustic Underground.  They run podcast shows on their website and Itunes, and we recorded this on a rather gloomy Saturday afternoon in Chicago, but things weren't so dreary in the studio :)

http://www.chicagoacoustic.net/

It's just shy of 40 minutes of my music, and some interview segments we did in between songs.  I'll post a few of the songs on my mypsace for download shortly.  This is with the band, so take a listen if you haven't heard them yet!

Happy New Year to everyone, and you'll be seeing me and hearing quite a bit more from me in '08, I promise you that!

Good news folks,

I'll be playing a show at the House of Blues in Chicago on July 26th.  The band will be with me, and we'll be opening up for Corey Smith!  This is an All Ages show, and tickets are $12 and can be found at the House of Blues website or through Ticketmaster.  Feel free to email me with any questions, but lets get some people out there to support us!

This has to be short and sweet, just got done with my second of two shows in Peoria on consecutive nights.  The first, a short set opening for Mike and Joe to a packed house, probably 500 people there!  everyone was in good spirits, of course, as it was black wednesday and we were all hammered (why the hell do we all get so wasted on this day?  maybe because we know we're going to eat an assload of food the next day and not do anything besides lie around on a couch all day, I took 2 naps by the way)

anyway, slower night tonight, but played a long 2 hour set and felt really good, especially for the second.  Busted out a new song called "Learn how to smile" that I really like, I'll probably post a version up here soon, so check back soon!

I haven't blogged in a while, so I thought I'd throw something up, it being the holidays and all, speaking of which, Happy Thanksgiving everyone, and we'll see each other soon, have a good weekend, and I'll be back up in the Chi soon

Current mood:  awake

so my birthday is officially over....yes I'm halfway to 50, damnit, (that's 25 for all of you who can't add/multiply)  and it seems as though pretty soon I'll be crapping in Depends and cruising antique stores on my scooter, but really....

thanks to all of you who gave me a shout out or hung out with me today!  really appreciate it, and had a blast as usual (I find more and more these days it takes pretty much nothing to make me have a good time...i could probably watch paint dry for God's sake, and somehow find that mildly entertaining at the same time).  people asked me today if I felt different because I'm a year older.....hmmmm...

not really, no.  its just the same old me doing the same stuff as i always do, so why in the hell should I feel old?  you know, 26 is the new 21 these days, so, in a year I'll be 21 again...hell yes!

anyway, if you really read all this, you probably just read the most pointless blog ever posted on Mysapce...thanks for sticking around, and post a comment to tell me how pointless this really is ;)
