hey, extra thanks to everyone who showed up on saturday to celebrate the release of my good friend jai henry's cd.  the show was great and a great time was had by all of us.  those who were there know that i played with a band for the first time with these songs.  it was a lot of fun. unfortunately, it can't be the norm since ian (the drummer) lives in san fransisco and nick (bass player) lives in la and san fransisco and everywhere else in the world.  it will definitely happen again, but almost definitely not for the show on april 17th at big v's.  come anyway! it'll be sweet!  also for those of you who haven't bought jai's cd yet.  buy it now! it's fuckin real good.  it's available at grapejuicerecords.com i think.  thanks everybody see you in hell.

hey all, i know i've fallen behind what i was planning on here, but  that's how it goes when yer me.  just wanted to say that i will be adding a couple of shows here later today or tomorrow.  a basement show (i think)in february and then a cd release for my good buddy jai in march.  the show in march will most likely be blessed with an appearance by my new backup band extraordinaire "the whiskey shits", or whatever.

hey, this has taken a while but here it is, i am back from sf, ca. recording went well. new songs up soon.  in the meantime come to the show this sunday at the terminal bar in mpls.  it's a benefit for my friend mike.  a better explanation is up on an earlier blog that i posted.

well, i leave tonight for sf, ca, for the reocrding event of the year!  at least if yer name is me.  which my name is.  as you can plainly see i am extremely sleep deprived and weird.  jai, ian and nick are gonna have a monster on their hands at midnight tonight, and hopefully a drunk monster by about 2am!  well, that's it for a week, when i come back to sunny minneapolis i will post more about it and probably update the songs here so yous can heres some new shit.

well, a week form today, i start recording my new record.  it will be filled with thrills, chills and beer spills!  along with a couple of tasty surprises! do those last two sentences mean anything? nope.  anyway, the recording will hopefully go smoothly and these songs will finally be rocking the ass of the world.  i only have one problem, what the fucking shit am i gonna name the record?  so, in an ultimate act of laziness i will open the question to you, my beloved myspace friends.  please post your ideas here.
