Hello Everyone,

This bank holiday weekend has been like no other for me, I was fast asleep on Saturday night at 5 past 12, when out of  the blue Tim txt me to tell me that I had a song on Grey's Anatomy. I couldn't believe it I had to get up and try find out exactly which song it was and when it was on; so I googled Grey's Anatomy season 5 and I found the latest episode to be shown in USA & Canada. The song was "Turn & Turn Again" which is from the All Thieves forthcoming album that I worked on last year.

For anyone who is a bit confused by who the All Thieves are it's a project I have been involved in for the past year or so, working with Rollo Armstrong, Marky Bates, Grippa & Kristian Leontu. Doing these songs was so much fun and not like anything I have ever done before. Rollo has an amazing way with words and would bring in these poems everyday for Marky and I to work into songs. I am so proud of the album and I can't wait for it to be out in the world. For now though it's on Grey's Anatomy and that is amazing. 

I really can't thank everyone enough for writing all the lovely messages and buying  my EP. I'm sorry to anyone I have not got back too but just wanted to say thank you.

I have been in the studio for the past few weeks trying to finish my album and today have stumbled across a great new version of "You from Me", which some of you may have heard on my page. I'm so excited the album version will be new for everyone! Including me! Let's just say Matthew Racher is a genius on the drums! I am also working on trying to finish a new song called "pigtails" with Mr Ben Mark, maybe for my second album since there is no room left on this one! I’m loving living with music its amazing whether it's playing, recording or listening to it, I bloody love it! On that note I will say bye till the next time.

Thank you to those who made it to Balham on Wednesday for the gig. What a great night, everyone was on great form and Ben was brilliant, rocking the place with Matt and Tim, it made me very happy!

Tim is a new face in our musical family and is actually a bit of a genius. I’ve found it quite intimidating being on stage with someone who knows my songs even better than I do.  Wednesday was only our second gig playing together and when Jamie couldn't make it to play bass for Ben, Tim, with no rehearsal and after only hearing Ben's tracks on MySpace played bass for him like a ninja! It was quite a thrill to watch.....

So I have some new dates up on my page, touring in May as part of the All Thieves and doing a solo set as well; which is very exciting for me indeed. I will be travelling round the UK in a bus, with the guys, playing pretty much every night so I hope I will get to see some of you on my travels.

For now I am busy finishing my album which I know I have been finishing for about 2 years but I really am nearly finished!

Wow, I’ve been transported to a winter wonderland, I have woken up in a house buried in snow, and my little car has completely disappeared.  So I'll be spending my day snuggled up on my big sofa in the living room, knitting, watching TV and keeping warm.

I hope you like my new MySpace page design, a new page for a new year.  If you look around you will find that I have placed my video diaries down the left-hand side of the page, and put up a few new pictures, along with a demo of ‘Wake up Matthew’ and I've put back ‘Somebody's Rose’.

For a while now I have been working on a new project with, Rollo Marky, Kristian and Grippa; it goes by the name All Thieves and the album is going to be called ‘We are All Thieves’, it's been very exciting for me working with such a great team of people. One of the tracks which I work on ‘Turn and Turn Again’ is on my MySpace music player. Take a listen, hopefully you’ll love it. We will possibly be taking this on the road soon; I’ll keep you updated as soon as I know more.

Speaking of live stuff I will be doing a short set during a night of live music put on
by The Big Issue at Proud Camden which is headlined by the fantastic One Eskimo, also with support by Kerry Leatham on the 10th of this month (details below).

Hello Everyone,

Wow!  Christmas has gone already, I've been having some festive fun with my family and I'm especially  happy that something very special was delivered back to me on Christmas Eve. :-)

I hope that everyone is having a really lovely, festive holiday season and that you got exactly what you wanted under the tree.

With the next year so close it would be remiss of me not to talk about it, I have just written a new song, which I think is really good, not sure if it will be on the first or the second album. Once I have a good demo ready I'll put it up on my Myspace page, and you can see what you think. 

I'm looking to release my first album in the autumn, this should give me enough time to completely finish it and promote it.  It does feel like it's taking forever but I just want to make sure it's right and worth the wait.

As some of you may have heard I am also involved in a project called 'All Thieves', it is quite hush-hush at the moment but we are looking to do a gig in February. As soon as I got confirmed dates, I will make sure you get all the information.
