Current mood:  catalyzed
I have always been interested in going to one of these but never really new anyone that new anything about a Sweat Lodge. 2 weeks ago I talked to my good friend Ron and he had told me great things about such an event. So I invited 4 friends only 1 committed to go. I will have to say it was an Amazing Beautiful experience to feel human and to be a part of something bigger than me.

I thought the cool thing about the whole experience was what was my motivation for attending this spiritual ritual. And praying for that motivation throughout the day before we attend.

It was amazing. I cried inside the lodge and then I hugged my good friend outside the lodge and I couldn't stop crying it was a great release for me to let go. I felt a spiritual high that I have never felt before. my hands went numb along with my body. Reminded me of getting my concha's pierced but more intense soft and slow. Cant really explain it in words. Its more of a feeling. Today I feel light and heavy at the same time. The best words I can describe my experience is I prayed for more love and compassion for myself and others.

"The Ordinary feels Extraordinary", "Awake", "A personal Healing journey to find myself" KC, my Acrostic poem below best describes my journey.

Stinging heat burns my heart and soul
Water dripping from my head to toe
Every where is darkness
Atoning my wrongs from my past
There singing mantra like prayers

Looking into my soul, replenishing my spiritual hole the
Ordinary feels extraordinary
Dedicating and giving away
Gratitude & humility stay
Emptying my heart I almost feel whole
