I’m BACK!!! What’s up you guys?!!

I know most of you must’ve thought I had fallen off the face of the earth…I’ve been pretty much out of contact for a year now aside from a few video messages and haven’t released any new music, videos, or performance footage…TERRIBLE! After my Cinematic release, I started touring around a bit, doing shows up and down California, in Texas and Florida, but my touring got cut short. I tore my ACL in my left knee and had to have surgery back in November of last year. The recovery process was grueling…rehabbing took forever and just getting around with that giant brace on my leg was a pain! Then in December I got sick with Mono! No idea how that happened but needless to say, 08’ just wasn’t my year. On the brighter side, having to be confined to a bed led to some of the best writing I’ve ever done and some new music that’s pretty different from the music I’ve released, but that I’m really really proud of!The first single I’m dropping is called “On You” and I’m soo excited for you guys to hear it if you haven’t already! It’s a very dance/club track that’s about being so addicted to a person it’s like being on drugs…very Ibiza…I’m going to get it up as soon as possible and I want you all to let me know what you think! Club remixes should be hitting the clubs within the month so REQUEST IT!Other than that I’ve just been doing a lot of new music with up and coming producers, still finishing classes online, trying to get back on the workout train after not being able to for months and months because of my knee, and traveling! I got to go visit my family in Hawaii for a couple weeks in the beginning of the summer and in a week I leave for my big New York and Italy trip! My last hoorah before I jump back in full throttle…ANYWAY I miss you guys and can’t wait to get all the new stuff I’m working on out for you!

Xoxoxoxoxo
Love always,
Jessi <3

Hello Hello-

Hope everyone had a good weekend...and for all of you here in
LA can you believe this HEAT!!!!??? I had to get outside today...it was
too damn gorgeous and warm to stay in...Took a good hike in the hills and
swam and tanned a bit in between working of course ; )
If any of you in LA have not gotten to enjoy this early summer weather we
are getting I highly recommend it!

Went to a pretty dope fashion show event this past Friday night. It was
featuring the work of this really talented up and comer Daniel
Kelley...It's pretty incredible to watch her in action...she can take a
t-shirt and turn it into an intricate, sexy, chic woman's dress. She also
had some beautiful, high-end silk pieces with fits that can rival Herve
Leger's.
Hit up a Dodger/Giants game last week too and of course we WOOPED their
asses!! Soo much fun and I had to have an entire bag of kettle corn...the
WHOLE DAMN THING! mmm so worth it and made the game even better.
Good new restaurant to try for all of you foodie's out there: Qusco on
Santa Monica in West LA....amazing Peruvian/Asian fusion cuisine and be
sure to try the Bomba for dessert! It's this ball of three different
sherberts inside a white chocolate shell...outta CONTROL!

O and how could I almost forget to tell you....went to the Britney Concert
last Thursday night and the woman's BACK! Most incredible show I've seen
in years!!!! Production and show wise, it was the best Britney concert
yet! Totally inspiring and she did all her hottest new music from the last
album and this one...insane dancing and choreography of course and the
circus theme was dope! I loved her dark, mock videos they used in between
sets too..Nobody works a video like Britney! She seemed slightly out of it
still, a little slower than usual, but totally in conctrol and workin it!
So happy she's back :)

Alright guys...until next week...<3 u and enjoy urselves as much as I do!

<3 J

Whats going on everybody!!!

Hope you all had a good weekend! Right now I'm writing to you from the LA Independent Bazaar in Downtown LA which is a really cool spot for a bunch of local designers/up and coming brands to come and showcase their stuff. It's held in this big old empty church and you can find the sickest most unique stuff here from ethnic Mexican hand embroidered tube tops and piecey jewelry to vintage fur coats and hand painted picture frames. Any of you in the area should definitely come check it out some time! There are two house dj's spinning on each level, full service bar and a taco truck!!!! mmmmm...

This past week I went to two very different concerts....Lil/Wayne and T-Pain and The Beatles show Rain. Lil Wayne was probably my favorite artist and music of last year..I was pretty obsessed with the album over the summer so I was psyched to see the show and he and T-Pain definitely did not dissapoint! T-Pain surprised me with how lively his show was and how much he danced! He gets down 4 a big boy! lol Wayne just drips swagger and flows as dope live as he does on his records. But as much fun as I had at that concert, I surprisingly had even more fun at the Beatles show! Rain is a show put on by these 4 Beatles impersonators that literally look and sound exactly like the real deal. Thoughout the show they had footage from whatever was going on during that time period that went along with the music. That music is just so classic and seeing it live and how it coincided with what was going on in the world at that time made me understand why the Beatles and what they created is timeless. Bottom line, get out and see some live shows and come check out the LA Independent Bazaar if you're in the area! Have a good week guys!

<3 much love, Jessi

Whats goin on everybody?!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I was up in the Bay area this past weekend taking part in the ISA Concert and 4C the Future workshops put together by Wong Fu Productions and the FM(FarEast Movement) guys. I got to co-host the sold out concert on Friday night that featured such up and coming artists as Passion and Paul Dateh and of course FM and Jin! Some of the ABDC dancers were there too and put on a sick performance as usual. Unfortunately, I couldn't perform this time because I am still recovering from my knee surgery. Rumor has it that there is going to be another ISA concert put on in Los Angeles, my hometown, at the end of the summer so I definitely look forward to performing in that one! The 4C the Future workshops were held at Ochoa Middle School on Saturday and it was just amazing to see all the artists taking the time to really teach the kids their crafts and encourage them to harness their natural talents. The FM guys, the hitmaking producers The Stereotypes and I taught the kids how to write songs...everything from melodies and song structures to the hook. DJ Virman from Power 106 taught kids how to scratch and the ABDC girls taught their latest choreography. Teruo artistry of Teruo clothing was there too teaching the kids to express themselves through "wearable artwork." The workshops ended with kids getting to battle Jin to win webcams...HILARIOUS! So hope your weekend was as great as mine...Look out for an ISA performance and 4C the Future workshops near you! Talk to u all soon!

Current mood:  busy
I MISSSSSSS YOU GUYS!!!! So I know most of you have been wondering what in
the world happened to me...I've been kind of MIA for the past 4months or
so...but I was actually going through knee surgery and everything that
comes with it. It was a hard process to go through but a very necessary
one physically and emotionally. It was almost like someone pushed the
reset button on me...I got time to really clear my head, start over,
remember what is most important to me in life, and then gear up again for
this new year...So far 09' has been everything I'd hoped it would be and
lots of exciting opportunities have come my way that I can't tell you
about yet...During the rehab process I wasn't just sitting on my butt
though! I got myself in that recording studio, really honed my writing
skills, and cooked up a couple things I'm positive you all are gonna love!
I can't wait to share them with you and will soon as I can! I really do
miss you all though and would love to hear from you guys and hear how your
New Years are goin??! I promise from here on out I am going to be much
more present and keep you guys updated!
<3 much love to u always,
Jessi
