Music opportunities took her to Boston, MA where Cheri studied at the African American Performing Arts Center and landed a role in the theater production, "Black Nativity" as soloist. Stopping in Cincinnati, OH she studied acting at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and voice at the Music Art Center. Back in California, Cheri accomplished songwriting and vocal production, broadening her experiences that lead her to become a BMI songwriter.

Today, Cheri performs and coaches singers.  Her music mission is to enlighten the listener with motivational sounds and lyrics.
