Information is still coming in at this point - see below for the latest updates:

Michael Bloomberg was set to appear at a $500 per ticket function put on by the Inner Circle.

Hilton New York 1335 Sixth Avenue between 53rd & 54th Streets New York NY 10003

Members of WeAreChangeNY News were assembled in the lobby area at the Hilton Hotel in order to ask Mayor Bloomberg some additional questions regarding the first responder issue which continues to be ignored. Requests to meet with our reporters have been repeatly denied by the Mayor's office. Reporters were stationed at various locations around the lobby and according to witnesses on the scene hotel security and members or Mayor Bloomberg's security detail began tracking and hovering around Luke and others with cameras who were waiting patiently for the Mayor's arrival. Members of both security staffs began to ask questions about who were guests at the hotel and who was press. Orders to "detain" people soon began so that those individuals could be banned from the building. All of the members of WeAreChange immediately complied with all instructions given by the security detail so that they could exit the building but within seconds arrest orders were given. According to WeAreChange camera operators there is video of these unlawful arrests as it appears that in some cases there were no warnings given and some people were simply arrested just for being in the lobby of the hotel.

Luke and the others have been taken to the NYPD 306 W 54 Street 8 Ave / 9 Ave

The planned 670-mile fence along the US border with Mexico has proven remarkably ineffective at deterring or stopping illegal crossers to the United States, advocates and critics of the fence admit.

Moreover, the fence's construction remains in limbo in numerous areas, where legal, political and engineering obstacles have brought its implementation to a halt.

And, where the 600 miles of fencing are already up, along the borders of California, Arizona and New Mexico, "smugglers and illegal immigrants continue to breach the fencing that is up, forcing Border Patrol agents and contractors to return again and again for repairs," the Wall Street Journal noted Wednesday. "The smugglers build ramps to drive over fencing, dig tunnels under it, or use blow torches to slice through. They cut down metal posts used as vehicle barriers and replace them with dummy posts, made from cardboard."

The "rough" measure by which the Border Patrol keeps track of illegal crossings was down 18% for 2008. Crossings appear down in parts of Arizona. But a May report by Congress' research service found a "strong indication" that crossers had simply found new routes. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano once famously quipped that a 50-foot barrier would simply spur the invention of a 51-foot ladder.

Staunch advocates of the fence admit that it doesn't stop illegal crossings.

"It's not the whole fix, not even most of the fix," Steven Camarota, research director at the Center for Immigration Studies, told the Journal.

Opponents say the fence prevents animals from reaching their original habitats and is a taxpayer "boondoggle," a gross expenditure of taxpayer dollars with little tangible results.

The fence remains incomplete along about 70 miles along the Rio Grande, in Texas. It's encountered myriad problems: environmentalists want a review to protect endangered or rare species; property owners have raised their hackles over eminent domain seizure of their land; and engineers have had trouble keeping floods from compromising the soundness of the barrier.

"It does become frustrating," a spokesman for the U.S. Border Patrol was quoted as saying.

President Obama's position on the fence and whether it should be completed remains unclear. He voted for it in the Senate but expressed concern about whether it "makes sense" to have a barrier everywhere along the planned route. Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano is also said to be a skeptic.

But a White House spokesman says construction will continue.

"Mr. Obama supports the fence as long as it is one part of a larger strategy on border security that includes more boots on the ground and increased use of technology," a White House spokesman told the Journal.

In an exclusive video interview granted to WeAreChangeLA, CIA man Robert Baer has revealed the following:

In reference to his statement on the Alex Jones show Dec. 6th, 2007 - "We've been hiding information from the public on Iran for 30 years", Mr Baer directly confirmed that the information the Agency has been hiding includes CIA involvement in the coup and revolution which took place in Iran, adding: "...there's alot more there."

Also, after being questioned about evidence of U.S. Government and various intellegence community prior knowledge of, and involvement in the events of 9/11, as made clear by parallel war games and insider stock trading on airline stock, Mr. Baer offered the folowing: "I know the guy who went in to his broker in San Diego and said 'Cash me out, it's going down tomorrow'". After I remarked "That tells us something", Mr. Baer added: "His brother works in The White House".

A lot of you may have seen Zeitgeist and many will believe every word from it. It seemed like a strange video to me when I saw it. Why dig deep into Christianity and cleverly lie in the very first part of the film? Then the film goes into other topics like the Federal Reserve scam, and 9/11 truth. I noticed the film also played short audio snippets of Alex Jones but never showed his face or credited him by displaying his name. Very odd film, indeed. Now there's a second part to Zeitgeist that was released recently. It was brought to my attention by Mark. I won't even watch it because of the homework I've done on the first movie. For those with an open mind. I suggest you watch Zeitgeist Refuted. Do your research. Analyze all the data. Do not become misinformed.

Check out what Mark Dice had to say below.

the producer, Peter Joseph, has taken too much LSD.

If you don't want to waste 2 hours of your life on part two of this idiotic film, then here is what you will miss.

The first part about the Federal Reserve. Pretty good, but just another rehash of other films (Monopoly Men, Money as Debt, Money Masters, etc.
)

He then proposes the idea that the world doesn't need money to function. The world with no money or medium if exchange is the dumbest idea i've heard from Peter "Jesus Hater" Joseph. Robots will do everything he says! I'm not kidding. lol.

who will build and maintain the robots and software? I guess those people will work for the fun of it in Joseph's world.

What about rare artifacts that can't be replicated? Works of art? Anchient artifacts? I guess these will have no value in Peter "Jesus Hater's" world with no money.

What about entertainment? I guess nobody will pay any money to see a good play or movie, because the robots will star in those as well.

This movie is sooooo dumb its unreal. Unfortunately the graphics and sound must have cost a fortune to create and looked pretty good, but the content sounds like something Steve Jobs dreamed up when he was on LSD back when he founded Apple Inc.

The interview with the author of Confessions of an Economic Hitman was enlightening, but then talking about his dream of a world with no money or work, Joseph ruined an otherwise great piece of information about global economies.

"Yeah man. a world with no money and where nobody has to work sounds great. The Zeitgeist Revolution sounds awesome man.
"

Peter Joseph has also introduced another faction into The Resistance, calling it the Zeitgeist Revolution or some crap, and asking people to join him at his new website.

We Are Change Vancouver interviews Marc "The Prince of Pot" Emery in an impromptu street interview.
Emery candidly reveals his views on 9/11 and the reasons why 24 dead Canadians and their family members deserve a new investigation.
Marc Emery is well known cannabis activist in Canada and is facing extradition to the US by the U.S Drug Enforcement Agency.
The DEA considers Emery the biggest pot dealer on the planet for shipping Marijuana seeds over the internet.
Emery's seeds have provided compassion clubs across the world with medicinal marijuana treating thousands of people.
The U.S Drug War is a complete failure and shipping Emery off to a country that condones torture is completely unacceptable.
Please take the time to educate yourself about Emery's case and the last of Canadian sovereignty.

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough broke a We Are Change camera phone after losing patience with questions directed his way about 9/11 truth.

Scarborough was accompanied by co-host and fellow "mainstream propagandist" Mika Brzezinski, who was met with statements introducing her to the surrounding crowd: "This is Mika Brzezinski. Her dad started al Qaeda." Scarborough piped up, "Is that what they say?" "That is really what they say," We Are Change members responded.

Joe Scarborough roundly dismissed and refused to answer to why he and other MSM pundits have conflated 9/11 Truthers with terrorists. Scarborough himself called for Truthers to be tasered after Bill Clinton was confronted during a speech. One of his co-host then added: "hopefully taken to one of those secret prisons in eastern Europe and never to be heard from again… I hope we have a special prison for 9/11 conspiracy theorists."

Moments later, Scarborough was questioned again after he and Brzezinski thought they had escaped the crowd.

Matt Lepacek posed a question about WTC7's unexplainable collapse inside the building, and Scarborough simply talked down to him, feigning some fake response about baseball before slapping down the iPhone camera Lepacek was holding. Apparently, the media not only won't report the facts, but don't take well to questions either.

The camera, worth approximately $500, fell beneath the elevator and was only later recovered with the help of the building staff. Though the memory card and footage was intact, the screen was shattered. Scarborough walked away, leaving Mika Brzezinski in the elevator.
