Hey everyone!!
LDTL Drummer Paul here. As you can tell from our site, the show on December 16 has been cancelled. WE received the news on sunday night and have just begun planning to make up for the show. But first, the details. What happened was I called my booking contact for the Starlight on Saturday afternoon and they told me that although they had been promoting the show, they have not been receiving the response they would have liked and instead of risking losing money, they were considering cancelling the show altogether. However, I told her that we have been receiving air play on line and that ROCK KRUSHER RADIO is interested in coming down from Buffalo, NY to broadcast the show live. They told me they would check with their boss, who is the owner of the place, and get back to me. After some back and forth fone tag, I finally received the confirmation Sunday night that the show was off. However, keep an eye on our site because we are looking to plan a make up show at the starlight in march or april but back to the dec 16 show. Now, we're looking to do one of two things. first, we're going to be contacting any body and every body we know to see if they have any openings. Since its last minute and that that may go south, we figured that if worse comes to worse, we're just going to do the dam show at the practice space in eddystone. This is the situation as it stands right now. I'll keep everyone posted as teh week goes along. Thanks all!! Wish us some good luck!! ~Paul, LDTL

Hey everyone out there in LDTL nation!!!
Drummer Paul here. I just wanted to update everyone of the current state of the band as well as recap the crazy week we just had on the road. First off, I'd like to thank each and everyone of you crazy bastards who came out to support us last week. The shows were amazing and more than we ever could have imagined. I also want to give colossal props to all of the bands we toured with, especially M16 and Redencion. You guys came out and really brought it each and every night. It seems the more we tour together the more I'm blown away by how truly awesome each band is. Your professionalism, your musicianship, and your outright support and appreciation really made this tour what it was and I really can't thank all of you enought. For all you reading this, you really should check both bands out, like NOW!!!
With that out of the way, it's time to recap the tour. The first night saw us going to Whiskey Tango. The show went well with LDTL going on second and Redencion going on third. Each of us were blown away by the look and sound of the place. Also to our surprise and excitement, we were told that we could have our set recorded. That's exactly what each of us did and that's why each of you should keep an eye out because some live tracks may be in the works. It was also here both bands got a taste for the upcoming shows as well as a feel for what the week would bring us. The only downside to tuesday was the crappy weather and the fact that no one showed up. But what are ya gonna do?
The following night, we ventured to Bootleggers. The place was a little empty at first, but anyone whose gone there on a wednesday can tell you that the place really fills as the night went on and so it did because there were about 20-25 people in the back room watching us by the time our set finished up. Next up, again was redencion who gave another outstanding performance.
On Friday we headed down to south philly to the big a bar at 18th and moyamensing. I hope I spelled that right. I had heard of this place but had never been there. It looks pretty cool on the outside and definitely looks like the kind of neighborhood bar you'd expect on the inside, despite being kind of small.
Each of the bands played amazing sets with atrophia starting it up grindcore/death metal style followed by the men of burial mound. Now, i really hope we can find some pix of these guys because they looked like they walked out of a motley crue show from the 80s. I mean they were done up with the fake big hair make up the whole bit. it was hilarious and awesome. and did I mention they gave an amazing set. I was really quite impressed and taken back by how good these guys were. I love the vocals, drums, riffs all of it. We're deff doing some shows with these cats so keep an eye out.
Next up was M16 who did it up their own way followed by redencion. Again, another amazing showing by these boys who came all the way, and I'm not making this up, from San Sebastian, PR. Headling the night was the ever awesome and awe inspiring Last Day To Live. Now, looking back on our shows, we have crowds really respond well and get into the show but this night it was different. We have people yelling, moshing, screaming into the mic and just going nuts. It was by far one of the best shows we've played to date so tell all ur friends b/c we're coming back to the Big A on my birthday. Hells yea!!!
We left there at 2:30 or so for some much needed sleep for saturday we had a show up in Newark, NJ. NOw, although I book a lot of our shows, sometimes I never can tell what I'm getting myself involved in. And boy did Halloween not disappoint. First off, I was bogged down with all my stuff and also had my loveable g/f amanda with me. The trip up wasn't the greatest because it rained so bad in spots you couldn't see two feet in front of your car. But, we did have the phils game on which made it better. The part i loved was we got up to newark and as we're going thru a toll, a plane flew right over our heads and my g/f started freaking out. I couldn't help but to laugh at her. It was great.
We followed my gps into Newark and found the venue after circling it a few times. After loading up and getting situated, we set up our merch booth and waited for the show to kick off, which it did an hour late, which made for a late night. We went on, I think second, and did a kick ass job with everyone going nuts again and even chanting for an encore. In all of our shows, I can't remember ever playing an encore or people loving us so much as to chant for one but I kid you not, it actually happened. To make matters even better, we sold three shirts and again our demos when like hotcakes. We were followed by M16 and Redencion who again did a bang up job.
The real twist for the evening came when I was at our merch table and our singer, joe, leans over and asks me if I've heard about us and ill nino. I was like, 'what?' Joe proceeds to tell me that we got invited to go back to their practice spot after the show. Fast forward to 3 a.m., yes, I am not making that up, at 3 a.m. we embarked north to Hoboken, NJ. The whole time I was driving, I was telling amanda, this is insanity. Which it really was but when you're given an opportunity like this, you grab it and don't let go. fast forward about an hour or so and there i was in a practice space with a heineken behind a set of drums that weren't mine. We rocked out a few songs and then amanda and I hit the road around 5 a.m. and didn't get home till about 8 a.m. It was a crazy night.
The following night we embarked to our last show in Claymont, De at Mojo 13. A nice little crowd was there and each band did a great job again. After saying our goodbyes, each band drove off into the night around 2 a.m. Looking back it was a crazy week that really helped us to better understand ourselves and what touring is really like. Each band gained memories we'll never forget and a wantingness to really do it again. I remember Marcos from M16 saying that he wished that the tour was going to last a month and not a week. I can assure him that we each feel that way and for me, I really can't wait to take to the road and play again.
Right now, we're taking this week off to reenergize and to get through some personal business. We're also in the process of accumulating all the footage and all the pictures from the last week because there is a ton of it. Looking forward to our next two shows, all I can say is that we have big things planned and that each and every one of you should keep your eyes peeled. HAIL!!! ~PAUL, DRUMS, LDTL

Hey All!
I'm sitting here watching the Phils game and I figured while I'm at it, I might as well fill Last Day To Live nation on some details about saturday. First off, the show is at championships bar and grill on oct 24 (duh!). The doors open at 2 p.m. and we go on from 5:15 to 5:45. Tix are 14 at the door and Ekotren goes on at 9 sharp. FOr the cost of the ticket, the show sure is worth it given the supporting acts who always put on a good show. Until next time, KEEP IT METAL!! ~Paul, LDTL

As always, we practiced last night in our awesome new room in our trusty practice space down in bedrock aka eddystone pa. We went over our set, including a few new songs, in preparation of our show tomorrow night in bucks county at bordz pa. Doors open around 7 and we go on at 8:15. Tix are just 6 bucks!!! Anyway, we ran through our set like always and then had a little band powwow to go over some new ideas/strategies/schemes to consider. For me, ever since our show at the pennant east in nj, i've been thinking nonstop about how to get this project off the ground and how to get our name out in the world. Long story short, keep a close eye at shows and online from now one because we have big big things planned.
In the interim, our debut record, All or Nothing, is coming closer and closer to fruition with Dusty and the gang from RECENT HOURS showing us five new tracks they recently mixed for us. let me tell you, this shit is hot hot hot. OMG!!! that's all i can say and all of you are going to have to wait a little longer to hear it! but it's deff worth the wait. We still have to sit down to figure out when the cd release date will be. All I can tell you is that it'll prolly be sometime in December.
Also, if you haven't already noticed, we've updated our myspace layout and are looking to update it further. So just keep your eyes peeled because big changes are around the bend!!
Concerning shows, we have our show tomorrow and then we play trenton at championships bar and grill on Oct. 24. As an incentive, if you make it out, everyone will get a copy of our cd preview sampler and first dibs on our remaining shirts that we'll be selling cheap. Looking ahead, we also have our five date mini tour at the end of the month with San Sabastion, Puerto Rico's own REDENCION!!! Check the 'space for show dates.
Right now, we're also planning for december. I've yet to really hear anything from anyone other than one venue in particular that is really looking to be a big show. So, that's the latest!! I'll each and every one of you fuckers tomorrow bucks co!!! ~Paul, LDTL

Hail!
LTDL drummer Paul here. I just wanted to update everyone on the band. Right now we're taking it easy with the holidays and all. We've begun working on new stuff yet again so don't be surprised if we bust out a new one at bootleggers next month.
This brings me to my main point. I've been emailing bars and places to place constantly and I mean all the friggin' time and it seems as though no one wants to get back to me. now, this is where all 275 of you guys come in. Below, I have enclosed all the names and contact info of all the places we want to play. What we need you guys to do is email and call them ALL THE TIME and tell them that you want to see LAST DAY TO LIVE play there asap. I think this way, the venues should know our name after awhile.
In other news, we're currently looking into updating the myspace as well as sending demos out to different labels and radio stations. If any of you guys are near cabrini college or drexel university, call them and tell them that you want to hear LAST DAY TO LIVE!!! I am also going to be sending demos to st joe's and neumann college. be sure to hit them up as well.
On the demo front, we're also in the process of looking into studios as we have an entire record's worth of material we'd like to get recorded and out to the masses. we're also in the process of discussing ideas for band pictures and developing a video of our set at the troc balcony bar as well as other pr related things. if anyone out there has any ideas, be sure to let us know. As for now, that should be it. Until next time, KEEP ROCKIN' IT OUT!!!! ~Paul
