Our last show before heading into the new year, we are hosting a holiday canned food drive show at zanzabar on saturday december 12th.  Helping us out are the very awesome You're My Density, Dude Plays Saxophone, OK Deejays, and DJ Sam Sneed.  Admission is FREE with 3 cans of food or $5 at the door.  Want to bring more than 3 cans of food? yes please! All food goes to Kentucky Harvest, come be part of a great cause and dance the night away! show starts around 9 o clock.

In other news, we've been spending endless nights finishing new material for our upcoming full length.  It has us pretty excited, but is very time demanding.  As soon as it is finished though, the Pass will be in full swing playing around all of louisville and surrounding area's finest juke joints.  For now you can mark on your calendar December 12th at the Zanzabar for a show i promise you will not want to miss. First off...thanks to everyone who helped make our Colors EP release party a huge success! It was truly a magical evening for us.

So the next phase of our sonic endevor involves some great new gear that we're all really excited about. Joining the team shortly will be an arsenal of all analog equiptment thats mostly older than us. Like aged cheddar these retro beauties have smooth and sharp qualities that you want poured all over your face. Though they've seen many days, its our belief that these instruments were made for this...for right now.

In general its back to writing and exploring.

August 1st at the Pour Haus will celebrate the night that we release our debut ep.  helping us out are IAMIS, Dude Plays saxophone, and Matt Anthony.  It will be a party not to be missed.  The cover is $5 and will get you into the show as well as a copy of the EP.

The Pass is busy people right now. we are living the lives of a million men combined into the bodies of 5 mere mortals in attempts to further our illustrious music careers to brittney and christina levels of success. your participation is encouraged, we can not do this on our own.  here is where you can see us publicly in the next month and a half........

tomorrow June 19th we will be on 91.9 wfpk (louisville public radio) live lunch.  there are 3 acts, all quite diverse, and we will be going on around 12:15 noon time.  you can tune in and stream at http://www.wfpk.org/CMS/?page_id=5   .  The show is to promote for the peak summit which we will be playing on saturday June 20th at saints sky bar.  The Pass goes on at 1:30 am for some late night weirdness so drink your sparks energy drinks and take your ginseng.

next month we will will be playing a couple shows. the first is a forecastle after party on July 10th at derby city espresso, about 7 blocks from the festival. the show is $5 and will start around 11:30 pm with our good friends your my density.  the venue offers a crazy good selection of beers and goodies.  this is a party that you dont want to miss.  later that week on thursday July 16th the Pass will be playing a free show at the nachbar, one of louisville's most beloved intoxicating hangouts.  this is going to be a ridiculous show, and its free!

we are currently recording our debut EP, tentatively titled the Battery EP which will be released on August 1st with a release show at the pour haus.  more details coming soon.  thank you to everyone for the continued support, we will keep trying to make things interesting.

we are currently recording and writing a lot of new music that we hope to start circulating by june. at the same time we are getting ready to play a lot of shows (hopefully) over the summer which are currently being booked.  as soon as things are more official we will post them on the myspace.  thanks to everyone that came to our first few shows in april and may.  it is an exciting time for us to take music out of our tiny practice rooms in front of people. we appreciate all the support. hope to see everyone soon.
