THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO CAME OUT TO THE AVENUE IN COVINGTON MARCH 28th. FANS THAT MISSED THE LAST SHOW, YOU'VE HEARD HOW NICE A PLACE IT IS, WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THERE IN JULY, DATE TBA.
O.k...for those of you under a rock (or busy living productive lives) for the last year and a half and have not heard of The Avenue, here's the poop.
The Avenue has earned a well-deserved reputation as one of the hippest clubs in Greater Cincinnati, new, or otherwise.  You can't order food at The Avenue, but you can get just about everything else.  The Ave. has a very swanky, hip environment - very "downtown" - with a friendly atmosphere.  The people there are really cool and it's always pretty easy to get a drink or a Great Lakes draught at the bar. Speaking of the bar, how about a 45' bar front.  It's one of the unique features of the club, to go along with the exposed brick walls and 2 casual seating areas.  It's KY after all, so if you must you can have a smoke inside, or, you can lounge on the huge patio (with beverage service).

I've been in with 3 other acts since it opened and the crowds have always been attentive & appreciative...it's a good place to see a show.  Management carves out a larger dance floor for our shows.

The Avenue is very easy to find, 411 Madison Avenue in Covington.  I75 to the Fifth St. exit, east on 5th 4 blocks, left (north) on Madison.  From downtown, you can take the Suspension bridge, turn right on 4th, west one block, then left on Madison and you are there.  From the far east side, 275 to 471 into downtown then come in from I75.  Plenty, plenty, plenty of parking, in front, across the street, and lots in the back - it's lit and there's a back door.  Curtain is scheduled for 9:30pm.  Thanks to Kim & the partners for having us.  This is a different experience for the club, and we hope you all come out to see the show.

Thanks to all of you who have supported the band during the first year and a half of the revival, the next 12 months are going to be great with all the new clubs (and old) we will be breaking in to the Midnight On Vine experience.

If you've been to The Avenue and have and comments, or if you'll be at the show, let us know.
