***Individual rates, $100

Before each photo session, I will offer a consultation to discuss ideas by emails or Chat, for theme, clothing and accessories for the shoot. Hotrod Heidi2008, mitten in der Krise, besann sich Amerika wieder auf diese Bilder der 1940er-Jahre, in denen das Pin-up-Girl die Erinnerung an ein siegreiches und einladendes Land verkörperte. Miss Surex (mit bürgerlichem Namen Mila Reynaud) ist eine französische Fotografin mit Wohnsitz in Los Angeles, die sich auf Pin-up-Fotos spezialisiert hat. Auf dem Luxusliner „Queen Mary", der in Long Beach vor Anker liegt, versammelte sie ein knappes Dutzend „Pin-ups" aus ganz Kalifornien für ein Fotoshooting. Metropolis war dabei!

Les Pin-ups sont de retour. Au XXIème siècle, ces créatures font comme leur mamie : elles prennent la pose pour des photos qui seront envoyées aux soldats américains en Irak.

Car en 2008 et en pleine crise, l'Amérique renoue donc avec une iconographie des années 40 où la Pin-up incarne le souvenir d'un pays victorieux et …accueillant.
Miss Surex (Mila Reynaud dans le civil) est une photographe française installée à Los Angeles, spécialisée dans la photo de Pin-up.
Elle a réuni sur le paquebot Queen Mary stationné à Long Beach une douzaine de « Pin-ups » venues de toute la Californie pour la séance photo, et Metropolis était là !

*First for those that do not know TFP (time for prints)/TFCD (time for cd or images) is where a 'model' will pose in trade for some prints or images from the shoot. This is typically used with beginning models and begining photographer to get experience and some images.
*When I do a TFP shoot, the model will get a proof gallery of the shoot, a number of processed web quality images (10) and a discount on any prints you wish. I never give out the high resolution originals, and a model release is always required.
* All paid shoots will have priority so there can be a delay in image processing.
*Now I'm not a total hard head and do make exceptions. Mostly for artistic projects of mine or when the 'model' comes to me with a unique idea, unique look and/or shoot location. This usualy is in the areas of figure(nude), retro or other areas of interest that I like to shoot for artistic purposes. This would be a colaborative effort between the 'model' and I to create some works of artistic merit.
*Well in general I no longer do TFP shoots. I'm here to make money and spend a lot of it on equipment, props, wardrobe and supplies, not to mention the time involved in processing the images...
