Remain calm. This is not mainstream media. What you are about to hear is likely to challenge your view of the world. To the uninitiated, the idea that our education was just dumbed down propaganda intended to subjugate us to the whims of our secret rulers, will be simultaneously familiar and absurd. Climate change, technological unemployment, peak oil and the global financial collapse are great opportunities for us to finally expose the men and women behind the curtain and end their 'tyranny of words'. To anyone who has started to unplug themselves from the Matrix, it is clear that our anglo-american media's representation of the 'global political arena' is a (badly) staged performance, resembling some monstrous hybrid of University Challenge and the World Wrestling Federation. Previous emperors threw together equally precarious platforms to deliver their false manifestos from. The debate has always been shaped by these directors, who therefore also control the outcome. Today, the orchestrators ostensibly fall under the umbrella of the Bilderberg group, formed in 1954. Until recently, they have been faceless, unnacountable, profit-hungry, psychotic corporations. Their actions have been concealed behind a near impenetrable veil of legalese, shrouding their accountability and responsibility. Big business oligarchs, quangos and other, deliberately indecipherable nouns. They are the merchant bankers who have perpetuated war without end for profit, who have enslaved humanity, who could free us from the shackles of labour and commerce. As the age of transparency dawns, it would appear more and more Bilderbergers are having epiphanies, leaking minutes of their meetings which are bound by the world famous 'Chatham House Rule' : "Participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed". Most controversial of these leaks was a 2002 description of the US-UK decision to pre-emptively invade Iraq. The global media attend, but doesn't officially report on the meetings or agenda of the group. This aloofness has, unsurprisingly led to a conspiracy theory that the fate of the world is largely decided by Bilderberg. Bilderberg claim their only activity is its annual Conference. "no resolutions are proposed, no votes taken, and no policy statements issued". Some would call this irresponsible, given the potential for the world's secret rulers to negotiate a peaceful, sustainable future for our species at these meetings. Many people still consider the very existence of the group or the NWO to be a fiction, a 'conspiracy theory' straight out of Chris Carter's X-files. There is now however a wealth of information available online from various reputable sources, confirming not only the existence of the group, but also evidence of their activities; they have a wikipedia page full of links to mainstream media articles. The IRS has listed the 'American Friends of Bilderberg' as a private, 'non-operating' educational foundation since 1975. The White House Office of Records Management still holds a folder of (then) Vice president Dan Quayle's VP Bilderberg Meeting files from 5/11/90. According to an American Friends of Bilderberg press release, their 2008 agenda dealt "mainly with a nuclear free world, cyber terrorism, Africa, Russia, finance, protectionism, US-EU relations, Afghanistan and Pakistan, Islam and Iran". They must be either flattered by all the attention they have been getting recently, or terrified depending on their individual natures. We must not forget that each of these people is a human being, capable of epiphany, independant thought and action. Bilderberg founding member Denis Healey, in an interview with the Guardian in 2001 said, “To say we were striving for a one-world government is exaggerated, but not wholly unfair. Those of us in Bilderberg felt we couldn't go on forever fighting one another for nothing and killing people and rendering millions homeless. So we felt that a single community throughout the world would be a good thing.” This is a compelling argument for a central world government, but you have to question the apparently abhorrent means and lack of accountability. To all intents and purposes, the Bilderbergers, (or their secret masters) along with all the shadow emporers throughout our history, appear to be as callous and condescending as the character Ozymandias from Alan Moore's 'Watchmen'. A single world Government/currency to respond to the challenges we face today should be the end of war, discrimination, planned obselescence, capitalism and class stratification. We do have the technology and the will to create a fair, prosperous society for all the peoples of the world, as envisaged by Jaques Fresco. We are truly living through the best piece of science fiction ever scripted. Gene Roddenberry's utopian vision for the future, 'Star Trek' could be just around the corner, but so could George Lucas' dystopic 'Star Wars' or George Orwell's '1984'. In order to ensure that our species 'boldly go where no-one has gone before', & not destroy or enslave itself, we need to cast light on the 'men behind the curtain'. What you can do: 1. Be responsible. Buy responsibly. Think about every penny you spend. Investigate every company you are sponsoring with your daily trade. 2. Be resolute. Realise and accept that you are being propagandised 24/7 and guard your intellect against this conditioning 24/7. Your TV is there to control you, turn it off. 3. Be skeptical. Investigate all information you recieve for yourself. Discern fact from fiction from conjecture and draw your own conclusions from the way these ratios break down. 4. Be brave. Share your conclusions and opinions with your friends, family and strangers. When disseminating your conclusions, do not allow debates to become arguments. Avoid being confrontational, aggressive or defensive. 5. Be aware of the propaganda and tactics being deployed locally and abroad to intimidate and dissuade the activist movement such as; kettling, false flag exercises and other manufactured crises (eg: swineflu). Remain calm in the face of these adversities and overcome them. 6. Be free. Wherever possible, reject the use of currency and create or discover alternative means of subsistance. Humanity has survived bloodthirsty, totalitarian, fascistic, empires before, we will do it again! In conclusion, I will just add this quote regarding awareness of the NWO, from the zeitgeist movement. ''the failure of awareness is that this "group" is not a group at all. It is a tendency.'' The
profundity of this statement escaped me the first time I read it. The
point is that if someone were able to execute all of these sick bastards,
more sick (or sicker) bastards would take their place. We need to heal this sickness
from the ground up, - we need to heal ourselves before we can think
about healing 'them'. Perhaps if we all heal ourselves, that will heal them... Solidarity, HEAVYMAN if you haven't already; www.zeitgeistmovie.comwww.zeitgeistmovementuk.com---end rant---

Remain calm. This is not mainstream media. What you are about to hear is likely to challenge your view of the world. Brighton has become a warzone. Our local bomb manufacturer, EDOMBM now owned by ITT has become a significant frontline, hopefully one of the final frontlines in the real 'war on terror' - the war between a criminal corporate state and it's concerned citizen activists. Brighton's smashEDO campaign held it's first demonstration outside EDO's factory, Home Farm Road, Brighton in March 2004. The demonstrations are now a weekly fixture every Wednesday 4-6pm. The activists' ethos is guided by the 7th Recommendation of the World Tribunal on Iraq, (WTI) whose culminating session was held in June 2005; "We recommend that people throughout the world launch nonviolen t actions against US and UK corporations that directly profit from this war” In the words of smashedo press spokesperson, Chloe Marsh; ''If, when millions of people were mobilised against the war across the UK, we had looked at who the companies were who were set to make a profit from the war and targeted them our resistance could have been far more effective''. It is woth mentioning that the WTI's website is currently innaccesible from UK IP addresses, - despite this, it would appear that the message is still getting out. By 2007 the smashedo decomissioners had, to all intents and purposes, bankrupted the company. In December of that year, American arms giant ITT bought EDO. This was a significant event, betraying how seriously those at the top are taking the campaign. EDO's share price had just plummeted, forcing the company into bankruptcy, but ITT and their hawkish partners in crime are acutely aware that when these campaigns succeed, they will herald the end of illegitimate warmongering. Unfortunately, but unsurprisingly, colusion between our Government and the arms manufacturers has been exposed. Increasingly Orwellian surveillance and militaristic policing tactics have been deployed in the UK and US to monitor and supress activism. The corrupt elements within the arms industry (and beyond) worldwide know that the veil is inexorably lifting and this terrifies them. The campaign to shut the factory has inspired activists worldwide with it's unprecedented successes. Closing EDO in Brighton, or Raytheon in Bristol, or Heckler & Koch in Nottingham is clearly unnacceptable to the arms industry as such a closure would threaten their long-term profitability. To date, such a closure anywhere in the world is unprecedented. Predictably, Brighton and Hove City Council ignored a petition demanding the closure of the bomb factory and refused a Green party motion to condemn the activities of EDO MBM/ITT. A green party leak reveals the city council convenor reasoned that ‘the issue is not directly related to Brighton and has no bearing on the wellbeing of the city’. Clearly, the manufacturers are a large cog in the industry as a whole, therefore they are collectively responsible for the perpetuation of countless atrocities around the world, which directly threaten our species' very existence. Whether you are a Brightonian or not, I believe you should support this campaign. A second petition has been created, demanding that the council hear the motion: ''We, the undersigned residents of Brighton and Hove, believe that the refusal to hear the original motion was wrong and disagree strongly with the notion that what is being manufactured and sold in Brighton is of no concern or relevance to the city’s citizens. We urge you to accept the tabling of this new motion and to condemn the activities of EDO and their complicity in war crimes''. - Sign it here: http://www.petitiononline.com/edoitt2/petition.htmlYou can also support the decommisioners who, on the evening of BHCC's refusal, caused £300, 000 worth of damage to machinery on the site. Their trial has been adjourned until 2010. This petition will be delivered to the foreign office prior to the trial of the decommissioners. - Sign it here: http://www.petitiononline.com/decom1/petition.htmlMore information @ www.smashedo.org.uk

HEAVYMAN has got more (mostly positive) feedback from the guest judges at the People's Music Awards HQ. Big thanks and props to TPMA...HEAVYMAN is very chuffed. It's always inspiring to hear from bods within the
industry and these guys have gotten together a great panel. HEAVYMAN got some good crits which he's taking on board...he's going to touch up on the performance skills, do some gigs, write n record some
new stuff, - get mainstream baby! He's thinking of just rinsing the
pastiche superstar Hip-Hop thing, get rid of all the indie punk quirk n
weird. Maybe get the vocal a bit more UK urban yoof fing innit...maybe change his name to 50 pence? Has that already been taken?
Anyways, get on over to www.thepeoplesmusicawards.com/ register, vote for HEAVYMAN and listen to some great unsigned music! Here's what they said, unedited. .. .. haydn bendall on: HEAVYMAN's Roses7 point(s) for Comp./Songwriting Short
and sweet! This is direct and entertaining. The lyrics, vocal
performance (not going to say melody!) and music relate well together.
7 point(s) for Performance The performance totally fits the song and the music - very reminiscent of Viv Stanshall!
7 point(s) for Capture Not the greatest recording but absolutely captures the song and the performance. Good tight arrangement and direct production.
21 Total Points Lots of fun, plenty of clever irony and commentary. Why not?!
.. .. emre ramazanoglu on HEAVYMAN's Roses4 point(s) for Comp./SongwritingObvious lyrics, didnt really work for me. The music is a really nice work of pastiche! Well arranged and executed! 5 point(s) for PerformanceThe
playing seems good! The vocals need to sit on the band a little better.
If the band is gonna play loose like this the vocals have to really
lock in! 2 point(s) for CaptureSO
bright - I had to turn my monitor controller down to a barely audible
level... Felt like angry bats were fighting in my ears... The balance
is pretty good despite that... 11 Total Points.. .. spin doctor on: HEAVYMAN's Roses5 point(s) for Comp./Songwriting Heavyman
clearly wears his heart on his sleeve and feels strongly about his
subject matter and approaches it in an experimental short sharp burst
and there is no faulting that.
Musically after an exciting start the beat falls into a
fairly standard rhythm before working solely in unison with the lyrical
flow where the angst of the subject may have been better served by the
lyric and instrumental working more against each other.
4 point(s) for Performance The musical track is perfectly well performed and incorporates an energetic live feel that compliments the subject.
In terms of lyrical performance this makes particularly
uncomfortable listening. The harmonies do not work, the MC has not
mastered his art making it a hard to take his points as seriously as
they should be.
6 point(s) for Capture Production is all perfectly accomplished and works well for the track.
15 Total Points Would have liked to hear a longer track from which to judge.
.. .. orifice vulgatron on: HEAVYMAN's Roses4 point(s) for Comp./Songwriting interesting
nice to make a point. this could have been done much better with a slightly different musical slant
not a fan of how the lyrics are put together..
maybe this shouldn't have been put into the rap category.
1 point(s) for Performance not feeling it, sorry bro.
dude has no groove, really in front of the beats instead of working with is.
dude need s to relax and sound like he really means it.. i'm
not convinced... it sounds like he's trying to sound like rather than
being the manifestation of the character he's created... doesn't fly
with me
5 point(s) for Capture recording is nice
10 Total Points
.. .. alex kenning on: HEAVYMAN's Roses6 point(s) for Comp./Songwriting like the elements of this track, it's quirky...
unfortunately it needs to be more polished
5 point(s) for Performance convincing yet lacking something...
sounds like it finishes after the intro
4 point(s) for Capture clearly at the demo stage.
15 Total Points it's a quarter of a song.
needs something for the audience to latch on to, a hook, a chorus, a clear melody...
.. .. jon kennedy on: HEAVYMAN's Roses1 point(s) for Comp./SongwritingVery original with the tripletness of this !
Short and sweet, which i think is best for this "comedy" joint ! 1 point(s) for PerformanceNice passion for the minute or so it lasts... 2 point(s) for CaptureDodgy recording tech on the vox ... better on the music ! 4 Total Points

Having determined that HEAVYMAN's music is mainstream(!), the People's Music Awards 2009 moved HEAVYMAN into the Hip-Hop/Trip-Hop/R&B Category. This week, HEAVYMAN went through to the second round for Hip-Hop/Trip-Hop/R&B and in the Best Male Solo Artist (!!) categories, where the judges vote for two finalists from each category. In their newsletter, TPMA wrote this: "HEAVYMAN is “mad as hell and he's not going take it anymore”. He's
decided the best way to stick it to UK parliamentary corruption is by
donning a cape and rapping his way to the top.
He can't flap roads or leap tall buildings but our tongue twisting
superhero can tie you in knots with his ingenious wordplay – think
Jeremy Paxman meets the Flash and the Furious 5.
" HEAVYMAN would like to thank everybody who voted him into the next round in these categories. Rumours are beginning to circulate about a possible live HEAVYMAN appearance coming soon. Details TBC.

13th July 2009 Dr David Kelly's death will be discussed at the
Chilcott inquiry, after 13 specialist doctors commenced legal action
against the Government. Campaigning MP Norman Baker said 'The fact that
eminent medical experts feel so strongly that the
official explanation for Dr Kelly's death cannot be sustained and are
now taking legal action against the Government to secure a proper
inquest demonstrates both how suspect Lord Hutton's conclusions were
and how this dark chapter cannot be closed unless Sir John Chilcott's
inquiry into the Iraq war addresses this issue.

On the same day the executive chairman of HSBC,
Stephen Green added his voice to the calls for an end to big bonuses
for bankers. He conceded that the system ‘is obviously flawed and will

Current mood: focused
Category: Life
Hello internet zombies.
The transient nature of existence means that we
are always living through pivotal moments in history. What we are
witnessing now however, is truly without precedent. The internet has the potential to inform and unite all of humanity, utilising our very real potential to create a utopian future for all. The unprecedented threat of catastrophic climate change and the global financial 'crisis' are not seperate issues. Without doubt, both are the direct consequence of our flawed monetary system's need to constantly drive profits.
Capitalism,
though by far the 'least worse' system we've created so far, demands
cyclical consumption. The system's need for obsolescent products has
manifested widespread narcissism and unbelievable inequity in all of
the world's great cultures. People attach disproportionate value to
'vanity items' and 'status' symbols. The truth is that virtually all of
these products have been deliberately manufactured with a built in
shelf-life in order to drive cyclical consumption. The world leaders
are besieged by lobbyists from powerful corporations and corrupt
industries desperate to maintain the status quo. This drives a system which pollutes our planet, wastes our resources and empoverishes billions of human beings, financially and spiritually, while threatening the future of our species and the entire eco-system with extinction.
How we deal with the unsustainability
of this reality is not up to our world leaders. It's not up to the
immoral, greedy corporations perpetuating these crimes. It is up to us,
whether we like it or not. It's not what the world has done to you,
it's what you do to it. How we respond to our situation determines it's
outcome, even the slightest change in your lifestyle will have an
impact. The simplest, easiest short term solution for us individually
is to take collective responsibility for our individual power as
consumers. If you passionately 'love' a label or brand, take the time
to find out more about them. Find out what lurks beneath the logo and
if you don't like what you find, take action. This can be as
uncomplicated as boycotting the corporation's products, or as complex
as organising/making donations to a campaign to persuade them to reform
their behaviour.
I'm not saying it's going to be easy, but I
believe there are many recent examples of people coming together to
give us all reasons to be optimistic (but by no means ambivalent) about
our future. People powered movements are gathering momentum all over
the world and justice, humanitarianism and common sense are beginning
to prevail like never before. When communism collapsed in Eastern
Europe in 1989 it was a largely bloodless political upheaval. It would
be an astonishing achievement if we were able to manage a largely
silent revolution (but for the clicking of mice and the tapping of
keyboards).
Here's some recent good news.
Since the illegal invasion of Iraq in 2003, campaign group smashedo
have shut down Brighton's local bomb manufacturing factory so many
times I've lost count. EDO, EDO MBM, EDO MBM ITT...The
arms industry can't let the company go under, so each time the
campaigners bankrupt the site with their relentless, legitimate
protests the industry steps in to bail them out, making this a
monumental war of ideologies, which the campaigners will continue to
win hands down so long as we have a just judiciary. Highlights of the
campaign so far include a high court judge overturning an injunction,
ruling that the protests and direct actions are legitimate and
comparing the director ofEDO MBM to Bruno Tesch (Chemist) of the Zyclon
B Nazi case.
Since
it's launch in June 2004 theyworkforyou.com has been an incredibly
powerful tool for political activists, aggregating content from the
Hansard records of the goings on in our political establishments,
providing a digital dossier on your local MP.
Thanks
largely to the work of the NO2ID campaign (no2id.net) rallying
resistance since 2004 to a surveillance state (in a society already plagued by
direct marketing) all opposition parties are now committed to
abolishing the national identity register, if they gain power.
Since it's launch in June 2009, UK People Powered movement,
38degrees.org.uk have been campaigning hard for political reform. They
have forced Governmental U-turns and forced debates about our electoral
system that a year ago seemed impossible. 10, 000 people have joined
them so far. (5000 of those in the first week) including around 100
MPs.
Between June and July 2009, at a rate of over 100 a week, close to 1200 people have chosen to follow stopwar.org.uk on Twitter.
The revolution is being streamed. Now!
Solidarity,
HEAVYMAN

My new rant/track, 'roses' is up on the latest7 music chart. Go and give it a play and help me to become popular here.'Roses' Politics is all just bollocks it makes me sick how they're taxing everything that they can. Take the cash out of whitehall, make em all grow, into roses. They say that the system is broken, well I'd have to say that it's them that's broken and they're choking on the embers, we should dismember every member of the house who can't remember why we don't forget the 5th of November. Gunpowder, treason and plot, you sorry politicians should have listened now we're all gonna rot. Politics is all just bollocks it makes me sick how they're killing more and more of us daily. It's shit. but they do say that shit grows the best roses it, surely is a fine manure. Let's grow some roses. Though I suppose it's, too late to change the fact these greedy people seem to have fucked the planet up. (end) Anti-politics is big and clever. And cool. Ithankyew. HEAVYMAN
