New tracks:

I planned out a fusion of Progressive House and traditional Brazillian Capoera music earlier this year with my brother and have had some time to work on the mix. The track is coming along nicely now and features some striking Berimbau playing (single stringed Capoera instrument) and the Pandero ( Brazilian tambourine )


The second track is Lift - unsually popular for some reason I can't seem to work out...! Well anyway this track is also coming along well and sounding more developed and less repetitive :S



I should have both newly mixed tracks up before the end of the year.

I've been a little busy learning some html and css and came up with this site. It's a little rough around the edges but there should be some new tracks and areas coming soon!

Hey all,

Thanks for all the support so far. I am very pleased to announce that I have been approached by a few record labels and am in the process of signing a few tracks for release next year, so naturally have been quite busy lately and haven't had much time to update the blog. But that's old news...here are the details about the new tracks that will be up tonight hopefully around midnight GMT!

I will be uploading samples of the new tracks:

- Nightbeat - This is the follow up to Swipe and is a quirky prog house / minimal house number.

- Skylight - A first class ticket for a flight of unmistakable melodic uplifting trance...

I've taken I Can See (Code Affinity Remix) to get it mastered a bit better. There are problems with the high frequencies and parts of the track sound quite uneven. It should be back up today!

IKA is a musician form the Netherlands with over 20 years of experience in Rock, Blues, Funk & Jazzrock. He plays the Hammond, Piano & the Rhodes. IKA has just started experimenting with electronic music and regularly comes up with new experimental trance, hip hop, funk, electronic and house tracks.
