Lucky me, I have knee surgery next Wednesday. I tore the meniscus in my knee and the doctor used the medical terminology of "Very large rip".
So they will scope my knee, which sounds pretty archaic, they drill 3 holes into my knee and shove a camera in one hole and the implements of torture in the others.
Wish me luck, I have been in horrible pain trying to walk.

When I saw the Jesus action figure, I really wanted one. I wanted to pose him on the top of a Dewback carrying Han Solo's blaster and take lots of pictures. I had plenty of opportunities to buy the Jesus action figure, but it never happened. However I have a new desire... I want this comic book. I want to see God kick in a wall and beat the hell out of Hitler. Isn't this hysterical? I dare you to lie to me and tell me that this does not interest you.

What the hell happened here? And what the hell is the Silver Swan?
I have begun to decimate all of my online profiles. I deleted my Last FM account, Flixster and about half a dozen others...including Facebook and any forum profiles I can find... Digg.com, Totally Rad Show...etc...
This is my swan song... the last thing I am going to say for a while...
The profile will stay online for now... but I am working on just staying the hell away from the internet and the drama of my life.
If you are one of my friends, you still have ways to get a hold of me. I am taking a break...

It's too early for this crud. I woke up with a massive headache and I would really like to go back to bed. I am not entirely sure why I waste my time with blogs anymore. No one is reading them... and it is a bit unfair I suppose to complain here about my blog when I don't even use this blog. I generally use Vox.com, I post on most days and even multiple times in a single day, it is not like I skip a huge amount. Ah screw it... I am dropping blogging all together. I have a book I want to work on and when my book is done, if I feel so inclined to blog again... I might, I don't know... write another book and still ignore blogging.... I guess I am a bit put out that friends and family have kind of ignored me. Be it a blog post or phone calls, I can count on my left hand... ok, half of my left hand how many friends and family I can rely on talking to me. Or giving a shit about what goes on in my life? Perhaps I am the one that is screwing up somehow? I am off from work the next week, turns out I am not looking forward to it either. Perhaps I should just go to work and lose myself in my job.

I changed the song in my profile to one of my favorites... please go listen to it.
Whistles the Wind... This song is for my family out in the world. I am with you and I am here for you.
"It breaks my heart to see you this way..."
Hang in there guys...
I love you...

Failte U' Cheallaigh "Failte, bheannaithe, mharthannach, mhomhar, mhin, Failte chaithiseach, charthannach, chloir, cheart, chaoin, Failte is fiche agus curim na , ceadta leo, Ar nos an tuile sa sruth ata, m'fhailte romhat
Translated:
"A blessed, long living, great, courteous welcome, An affectionate, charitable, just, proper, true hearted welcome, A welcome and twenty, and I add, hundreds to them, Like the surge of the stream is,my welcome to you."
- The Kelly Welcome
This year has been rough on the Kelly Family. We have struggled, we have been beaten, we have been kicked around, we lost one of our own.
However the Kelly Family through it all rides it on with a smile, a good hearty head butt and a keg of the finest beers and bottles of whiskey.
We persevere, we get stronger and we love harder.
We keep laughing and we keep holding on.
We are as fierce now as when Tadhg Mor O'Kelly fell on the fields of Clontarf in the year of our lord 1014 A.D. When Tadhg fell in battle, he fell fighting like a wolf dog. Like the ancient Irish folk hero Chu'chulainn... Tadhg also was mortally wounded and he fought on knowing he was dying.
This courage carried on down the line and with each generation of Kellys, we grew stronger and stronger until you see this proud family that stands before you today.
While the Kelly Family is no longer vastly wealthy with money as the clan once was, we are rich in family, in heart, in spirit, in resolve, in intellect and we will never fade quietly into oblivion.
We will trumpet our clarion call and stride forward.
And all of you will either find in us the strongest friend or the most savage enemy.
2008 holds much promise.
Turris Fortis mihi Deus
God is my Tower of Strength -Kelly Clan Motto

AAAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHH
I am pretty ticked off at the moment over something small.
However....
SON OF A MOTHERLESS JAZZ FLUTE BAND PLAYER WITH A HOOK SHOVED IN HIS NOSE SIDEWAYS.
See, it is Christmas Eve so my anger is being held back. I am using the nicer language to what I really want to say.
Ok, it is a minor thing. It really is, however I was soooo looking forward. NetFlix shipped out my movies I wanted to watch for Christmas and the Simpsons was one of them. Everything arrived, but the Simpsons Movie. So I thought for sure it would arrive today.
You have NO idea how badly I have been wanting to see this movie... you just do not know.
I wake up this morning to the following e-mail:
We've received: The Simpsons Movie
NOOOOOOOOO
I hate and detest our local postal woman. She is incredibly lazy and pretty crummy.... it has to be her fault.
Every Christmas it is my own personal little custom to have a movie marathon with all of the latest DVD offerings. Well I am down to 1 movie which is not much of a movie marathon.
.sigh
Welp, things could be worse I guess.
Still....
ok... sorry going to slip one in....
FUCK

People.... Stop it...
Seriously... Stop IT...
The Da Vinci code is 99.99% fiction. Dan Brown cannot even get basic facts about art and architecture right.
So stop it...
If you want to explore the possible validity of the topics in the book, please watch the special on the Sci-Fi channel or the bazillion specials they have on it on the History Channel.
Stop blathering like sheep thinking you know what you are talking about because Dan Brown says it is so...
The guy cannot even get the differences between a Fresco and a Tempra right...
Hello...I can claim something true and it is not. That is easy. Lets see... a Circle is not a circle... it is a square now and I know this because I extensively researched this.
So Stop It...
Stop what you ask?
Your frikkin smug attitude as if you were some biblical, history or art scholar because you saw or read something in Dan Brown's book.
You say the bible has been rewritten... Bah... you can go out and buy original Hebrew and Greek copies of the manuscripts... the originals exist. Then you can get yourself a Hebrew or Greek dictionary and then translate it yourself.
You say Constantine said Jesus was divine and no one really thought he was before then. Bah... you don't even pick up the Bible to see what people said about him... especially the 300 YEARS before Constantine.
I love when people say, "The book says it is fact" or "These are great valid ideas"
Spend some time watching the History channel this week for a little dose of some reality.

So I figured I would give you folks using MySpace an update on what has been going on with me.
I know I know, I should use MySpace.com more often, but this time I promise, I have an excuse.
I had hernia surgery last month. This was not some little cut they made either... they gutted me about 5 inches. I had a belly button hernia, so that is why the extreme cuttage. Of course this was through every single stomach muscle... so laughing, standing, sitting... hell walking was out. I have been out of work for 3 weeks, thank God for vacation time. heh heh.
Normally I might have enjoyed the hell out of it... but instead I sat around drooling..
I had some awesome pain killers that left me floating around the room...lol
The wife though, she was awesome... she took good care of me and even went out and picked me up some stuff to keep me busy. Movies, games and such...
I went back to work last week and used a cane for that 1st week back.
Today I ripped out the stitches... well ok the wife did it. I was supposed to have them removed tomorrow by the doctor, but I am saving the $15 copay and she pulled them out. She is good too... no pain...
That is all for now...
